Lovely food. Friendly service. the yaught club is a great location which is very under utilised and really benefits from having the restaurant attached.

This place is very special! Just held our daughter’s 18th birthday gathering - they couldn’t have been more obliging - organising a bespoke menu. The staff are so friendly too. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Excellent meal

Outstanding food, really liked the garden /pod layout. Wines recommended with each course were really lovely extra, and non alcoholic cocktails were welcome option for one of our party too. Room 1 was just lovely. Spacious, airy, comfortable.

We first came to Pettigrew around 10 years ago and have spoken after the afternoon tea ever since, so this year we returned and it lived up to our expectations and then some. The waitress was lovely and attentive, and the food was great. We took our cakes home and they were brilliant as well. If we return to Cardiff again, we will be back.

We will definitely be returning. The beef tacos were delicious and the chilli hot dog from the specials menu was one to remember. Excellent service in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere. I will be trying a cocktail next time too!

Myself and 2 friends had afternoon tea on 26th on July for a girly treat. On arrival we had a friendly welcome, and shown to our table upstairs. This is a quaint little tea room, just at one of the entrances into Bute Park. We were explained the menu, and while we waited for our food, we're given a large bottle of water to share. The afternoon was tea was absolutely lovely, fresh assortment of quality breads, overflowing with their ingredients, along with scones and sweet treats on top tier of our cake stand. Afterwards we picked a cake of our choice downstairs, which you can have at your table, or boxed to take away. All in all, a highly recommended afternoon tea, to which we will definitely visit again!

Had a lovely meal for 4 at The Copper Pot Cardigan. Service was great and the food delicious. Recommend you pop in when next in Cardigan.

What a find! Recommended by a Malayan friend. Don't be fooled by the exterior, a lovely little restaurant, nice decor, fab staff - nothing was too much effort, attentive but not too attentive, food was just delicious and very good value too!
