Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldWe had lunch at Bacchus on Friday 3rd January and the food and service were, as always, excellent. We are very lucky to have such a lovely, and reasonably priced, restaurant in our village and consequently we are frequent visitors and will continue to be so. The continuity of staff is noteworthy and their friendly and professional manner only adds to the dining experience.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldWE have been going to Panama Hattys for at least 25 years so it was the obvious choice for my husbands 80th birthday lunch. There were 15 of us mainly family including adults and children.Everyone enjoyed it and we all ate very well. All the staff are very welcoming and the service slick but not rushed. We will continue to go there a few times a year.It is lovely.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyLovely to return to Bacchus once again, always a pleasure to enjoy good food, and wonderful service .

Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordExcellent food, professional and friendly staff - altogether a lovely experience
Elmas Restaurant – LymmWe were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was cosy and friendly. The afternoon tea was nice, especially the Bakewell slice.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordWe came on New Year’s Day for my birthday celebration. The team were fabulous. Really welcoming and attentive. They helped my husband surprise me with a glass of fizz on arrival and a birthday cake. The food was really tasty and the portions were huge! Despite being busy the service was swift and friendly.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyGreat food, lovely atmosphere and staff. Nice log burner next to our table which was an added bonus and dog friendly too. Definitely recommend a visit!
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyEverything was excellent, the food was fresh and the Yorkshire pudding was amazing. Service was beyond great. The Sunday lunch is fabulous, we have never been disappointed. They also welcome dogs, in a doggy area in the pub!
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyMy wife and I and 2 friends had dinner on New Year’s Eve. The food was exceptional. The service was second to none and the whole experience was wonderful. Friendly staff and a terrific atmosphere. I would give them 20 out of 10’if I could. They also don’t implement a service charge which most restaurants annoyingly seem to do. I did however have no objection to leaving a tip because the Alvanley deserved it.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyA wonderful new years meal with the family. Obviously a very busy day for them and the restaurant was full but the service was great. Delicious food at a good price. Would definitely recommend.
Pacino’s – ChesterMy husband and I both enjoyed sparkling afternoon tea on new years eve afternoon. The hotel is very quaint and it's like stepping back in time it was nicely decorated for Christmas. We had a window seat which overlooked the front drive and the garden's which look amazing, it was a shame it was raining as we would have liked to have a look around them. The afternoon tea was lovely not overwhelming but enough to make you feel satisfied. We liked the mismatched China cups, saucers and side plates which went well with the white linen table cloths. Our first visit to this hotel but certainly won't be our last. Thank you and a happy new year to you all.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordI have been coming to Mere Court for years and have enjoyed afternoon tea with many friends and family. It is a beautiful place with peaceful surroundings and that old fashioned calming ambiance. The afternoon tea is a selection of freshly made sandwiches and cakes as well as scones with jam and cream. The choice of tea or coffee is available and all is served on beautiful mismatched china to complement the surroundings. The staff are amazing and very attentive! Maria knows us so well now! I adore this place and will continue to be a regular here x
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordA bit disappointing. A significant number of dishes on the menu were not available. Some of the food that we did have was also poor and service was slow. It seemed under staffed. The manager did later apologise when I paid our bill and explained the limited menu was due to delivery of food had not been made due to the Xmas week.
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamWe have been to two Murder Mystery nights and have enjoyed a lovely meal, built new friendships and loved the actors who performed on the night! The food was great as was the camaraderie between everyone who attended! A great night was had by all! We will be back
