First class service and food, as always.

Came to Mere court for Afternoon tea. Greeted by the pleasant lady on reception. Taken to our table by a lovely server. Given a choice of sandwiches. Setting was beautiful. When the cake stand came it was laden with sandwiches, scones, tarts and cakes. Given a choice of tea or coffee and a glass of prosecco. Food was delicious, would certainly return and would highly recommend. All staff were fantastic.

Easily the best pub food in Congleton. Great atmosphere and exceptional service

We visited on Sunday and found the staff to be friendly and helpful .We chose to have the Sunday Lunch There was plenty of meat and a nice choice of vegetables .my only criticism is that is was served luke warm apart from the roast potatoes which were hot .

It's been a while since we last came to The White Lion and the first time for my parents. We all absolutely loved it! My Dad enjoyed the chicken special with haggis mash. Service was friendly and the choice of ales was great too. One tiny bit of criticism would be to have a runny yolk for the ham, egg & chips, both my eggs were hard but still enjoyed it. We will be coming back.

Excellent as always

Another excellent meal at Panama Hattie's in Spurstow. I have been using this restaurant for many years and the standard of cuisine, staff and location never fail to impress.

I booked afternoon tea for 11 people to celebrate a special birthday. We were seated in a fabulous room overlooking the pond and fountains and beautiful gardens. We had the room to ourselves. The food was beautiful, the service was excellent without being intrusive. A most enjoyable afternoon in fantastic surroundings.

Excellent meal. Food superb. Would definitely go back if I was ever down that way.

Great food, All served hot and fresh. Friendly, efficient service. Excellent for a treat, 2 hour round trip, but too expensive to be as regular as I’d like.

Value for money like nowhere else. Great vibes. Pasta dishes a little under seasoned. No choice in how duck breast was cooked. But for the price can't really complain.

Food was amazing, service was fast and pleasant. Everyone was so lovely and super accommodating to my overtired and hyper 2yo. I couldn't have asked for a better first time dining experience. already can't wait to come back here with my partner
