Average at best. Service slow, staff not attentive Food average: nachos soggy, burger lacking in taste Busy and atmosphere was good

Having moved away from the area, I haven’t visited this restaurant for over 30 years, and it’s still as great as it was back then. Well worth the miles to come again

Booked afternoon tea for my sisters Birthday. What an absolutely lovely afternoon we had at this delightful little hotel. We were met by the staff who quickly saw us to our table , with a lovely view over the gardens and the pond. The tea and prosecco was quick to arrive, followed by the cream tea. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are super. Will definitely be back. Sunday lunch next!

Amazing place! We usually get takeaways and the food is always so good, but this time we ate in the restaurant. Staff are so friendly and accommodating, service spot on, food as good as ever, kids meals really generous. We will be back soon! Thank you!

Lovely Sunday lunch meal - struggled to find a pub offering more than a Sunday roast but the menu at The Carriers Inn ticked all the boxes for a group of 6 mixed age friends. One amazing Sunday lunch, two fab burgers, one gorgeous bbq chicken pizza and two great kids lunches followed by kids ice cream. Staff were very friendly and really accommodating with one fussy eater, great relaxed setting, suitable for dogs and great selection of drinks. Would definitely recommend and will certainly let be heading back. Refreshing to have a pub which serves good, honest, home cooked food without trying to be too fancy

We booked an afternoon tea for my Aunt's 100th birthday and we were not disappointed. We were a tricky group with a wide range of allergies and all were accommodated; the tea was delicious and the gluten free scones were the best I have ever tasted. The hotel were welcoming and allowed us to come earlier than our booked time to decorate the table and bring balloons and decorations, The waiting staff were helpful and obliging. We had a fabulous time and would not hesitate to book again.

What a wonderful experience with had at the Edgerton Arms in Asbury Cheshire. We have been for food which is excellent. We decided we would have my late mother’s wake At the Edgerton Arms after the Asbury service at Saint Mary’s Church. And all I Can exclaim say is incredible, the service, the staff which Includes everyone of the team. And a special massive thank you to the chef:) Chandra’s hospitality goes over and above expectation with exceptional eye to detail. From our walking In the Edgerton arms to our leaving, We were made to feel welcome it was total excellence well Done Edgerton Arms in Asbury.

We had a beautiful afternoon tea with family, the food was lovely, surroundings beautiful. Sadly, absolutely not the hotels fault, a very large wedding filled most spaces inside and out with loud rowdy people drunk by 230 in the afternoon. It was virtually impossible to access the toilets safely. Not good for my granddaughters to witness. Would definately return but would check prior to ensure this didn't happen again

Food absolutely gorgeous. Service a little slower than we've known in past visits, although as we weren't in a hurry to go on anywhere else, it didn't matter on this occasion. Staff lovely and polite and attentive. Great atmosphere. Overall a tremendous evening.
