Absolutely lovely

went for evening meal and when we got there they had a funeral tea on and it was rammed but we were still got fitted in. They were a freindly crowd , ha d agood chat with some. The staff omg how they coped with all them people was incredible and tehn teh usual thursday night people aswell. Hats off. The food was delicious as always wife had steak and i had chicken supreme both excellent and delicious , just can never fault teh place. Even with all the people in tehre we still didnt have too longa wait for our food . Staff are great

First visit despite living in the area for six years. Lovely surroundings and the food and drink was great. Service was a bit patchy and we could definitely have been sold some more cocktails but waiters were thin on the ground! We will be back.

Whilst the service and food were excellent as usual, there was disappointment that the food menu seems a little more restricted - and in some cases dearer. Despite the reduced menu, certain items were not available.

We thought we would try the Tigers Head for Sunday Roast Sharing board. It was delicious, the meats were fabulous, Yorkshire were amazing. My only criticism is the oblong plates and the mint sauce it was served in the colmans jar with a spoon. The young staff were very helpful. I hope they will decorate in the future as we noticed the wallpaper was peeling away from the walls which didn't look so great sadly. But I do recommend the sharing roast platter.

We enjoyed Sunday lunch at the Tigers in the main area. One tasty Sunday roast and two of us having the small Italian plates- yummy Thoroughly enjoyed the tasty food and great service as usual. Thanks Tigers Head

We had a fantastic meal and evening in the Italian restaurant section. Once a fairly intimidating room, Leigh and Jo have transformed the place into a cosy, inviting place to eat! Food was fantastic, the Dolcelatte Gnocchi is a must and the Penne with Vodka and prawns delicious. Service was friendly and fast and the whole place felt lively again. Top job and highly recommended.

We had a beautiful meal on Sunday It was a belated Mother’s Day treat for my mum and stepdad Staff were lovely and the setting was lovely and traditional Will definitely be back!!
