Lovely setting friendly staff afternoon tea Could recommend the gluten free version my friend enjoyed delightful after noon certainly recommend

Although we have been to an evening wedding reception in the past last Monday was the first time that we had been for afternoon tea. We were not disappointed and enjoyed an excellent selection of sandwiches, cakes and the homemade scones with clotted cream and jam were to die for and we asked the staff to mention this to the kitchen staff. We will definitely be back again and being only 10 minutes away from a restaurant in such a lovely setting is a bonus.

Simply superb. Fabulous food and great surroundings. Staff amazing, not fussy but knew when to approach. Really cannot fault. Very reasonable price for the quality on offer.

Absolutely brilliant place with beautiful grounds. Been for afternoon tea 3 or 4 times and never been disappointed. Will definitely be going again, the staff are friendly and service excellent. A visit is highly recommended.

Had a lovely Sunday roast, all home cooked. Staff were so friendly and helpful, one of our party was in a wheel chair and they sent us a video prior to arriving to show the entrance to check she would be able to manage it. Also got lost in the forest walking enroute to the pub ask we arrived an hour late, after a couple of phone calls the staff were very accommodating holding our table for us. Would recommend and definoteturn again when we are next camping in the forest. Thanks

Four of us all had lunch yesterday. The whole experience was excellent from the service to all of the food. I would highly recommend it.

Great restaurant, delicious food, staff really friendly and attentive.

Beautiful country pub. Large beer garden area. Friendly, helpful and accomodating staff. Menu had a good range of meals at mid range price. Food was tasty and good portions. Maybe a little more table service attention in the lounge needed, but I'm just being picky. Highly recommend going for a meal or just a nice glass of wine, pint of beer or coffee. Thank you for a returning welcome.

As usual the Service and Food was excellent. Definitely our favourite place to go for a Curry.

Brilliant food, excellent service

This is one of my most favourite restaurants. I recommended to my old school friends and they weren't disappointed. The waiters are charming and attentive and the food excellent. A good lunch was had by us all

Everything is perfect at this restaurant. From the staff, the atmosphere and the food. We can’t fault it any way. It’s a beautiful family run Italian. The carbonara is incredible and fresh and the service is 5 stars. We will be back for our yearly visit. Thank you again.

Our first visit to Bacchus for a special birthday but it won't be our last. Living in Alderley Edge we have a selection of restaurants but none as good as this, Modern take on English food served with friendly staff, not stuffy or aloof, terrific wine list and Linen napkins!!! What a pleasant find and just down the road, we'll be back. Derek and Joan Wright

Food was extremely mediocre. Felt like they were more interested in bigger parties because this is where they would have earned more money. Asked 3 different servers for a bottle of water for the table before we got one. Had to send food back twice. I booked this table over a month in advance for my friends birthday, added a special request regarding bringing a dessert out which they paid no attention to atall. Waste of money and would never recommend anyone to go. Go elsewhere and save yourself the disappointment:)

Excellent evening meal. Very good service and ambience. Ample choice and well worth a visit.
