Tremendous food and service!

Fantastic food, brilliant service would highly recommend, have been going for the past 9 years and never been disappointed .

Food was good, homemade and excellent quality. Good value for money and would not hesitate to visit again.

Loved the new menu. Always good food and service, and of course a delightful position on a beautiful day. Our regular stop and never lets us down. Please consider bringing the kit kat sundae back. : )

Had a lovely afternoon tea. Friendly staff on reception. Nice relaxing venue. The only thing that would have been nice if we had been asked if we would like any more to drink. Once we sat down and we were served the afternoon tea we didn't see any waiting staff again. It would be nice if a member of staff came to see if everything is OK and to ask if you would like anymore drinks.

We went here on a Sunday evening for dinner. The food was excellent and so was the service. Our waiter was very friendly. Would definitely recommend

Having had several meals over the past few weeks to celebrate two birthdays plus a day out with my wife, we have enjoyed the hospitality and friendliness of the team, the food is amazing. With a great atmosphere and beautiful views of the lake and beyond. I would recommend the Carriers to all my friends and family.

We had a great birthday celebration with 1 baby and a child and the staff was very accommodating.

Chicken wings deep fried/oily, roast potatoes clearly not made on the premises/bought in, not as good as Aunt Bessie's, rotisserie chicken skin not crispy & meat a bit tasteless, veg too hard & I we don't like it overcooked. Service was good, but food really needs to be improved before would consider going back. Very sad, as years ago this used to be good - seems to have got poor food standard wise over the years.

We booked mid-week to celebrate my daughters birthday & where looking forward to a beautiful steak! MMmmmmmm cooked wrong, returned, cooked perfectly but the steaks were horrendous - cheap fatty, grissly cuts completly inedible. Disappointed would be an understatement!

What a fantastic place to eat! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was absolutely delicious, great choice so something for everybody, huge portions, all freshly cooked and excellent value, we will definitely be returning and are already singing this restaurants praises to all our friends and family!

Great service, really good food very reasonable food

Lovely meal from an interesting lunchtime menu at my favourite table for two in thee window. We enjoyed our mocktails to accompany our food too. The waitress was attentive, all we ordered arrived promptly and the food was very tasty. A wonderful experience thank you.

We arrived at least 15 minutes early. That was not a problem for them and they seated us quickly. This was our second visit to Bacchus and as before we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was magnificent and the atmosphere was just right, a mixture of elegance with informality and friendliness . Even though we had only been once before we were greeted as long term diners. Fabulous evening that we will enjoy again soon.
