Lovely food, the steak pie was great with proper chunks of steak in it. Great service too, food arrived quickly. We really enjoyed our visit. Would recommend and would definitely visit again if in the area.

The Ship Inn – MacclesfieldFour of us enjoyed a truly excellent lunch at Mere Court recently! It was our first time there and we were extremely pleased with the whole experience. Two of our party had diet issues (Gluten Free) and these were addressed with no problems at all. The service from the staff was tip top, the food was of the very best quality and beautifully presented. I cannot fault them in any way - hence the full marks given below. We are planning to return soon and are looking forward to being there once again.

Our waitress was very attentive and made us feel at home and relaxed and we thank her for making our visit very enjoyable. We were very pleased when the management presented us with a bottle of red wine in recognition of our special anniversary. We will visit again and will recommend your establishment to our friends. Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyWe had an early evening meal from the fixed menu which was reasonably priced. The service was very attentive and friendly, making you feel extremely welcome. Bacchus was one of our regular venues, but following the lockdown we had not been for quite a while. We instantly felt right at home again however and made the conscious decision to put Bacchus high on our list of favourite restaurants again.

We were served by the effervescent and charming James who really was the most brilliant waiter. The food was, as always is, sheer brilliance and all washed down with a Wincle Brewery beer. Sublime and bucolic sum up this enchanting venue and we continue to wish Jim and Christione well in promoting their pub. Loved the fact we can now book on line. Fantastic service from charming and attentive staff, the owner is engaging and a real people person. It was incredibly warm and he moved our table outside for us to cool off! I have had moules mariniere in many restaurants around the world but I have to say the ones at Bacchus were the best! Excellent silver service but with a friendly twist always happy to share a laugh. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always flexible to accommodate any request. Not too noisy or crammed together so it was easy to have table conversation. We finished the meal with a generous cheese board and a port. A meal to remember!!
