This voucher was bought as a gift for me. We had never been to mere court hotel before . My first issue on the day was no disabled parking near the doors. I had to push my mum in wheelchair to hotel over ramps on the drive. At no point whilst I was trying to get into hotel etc did anyone come out to help me get her up the few steps. After that we were greeted on reception and showed to a side room in the restaurant. It was lovely and warm and the waitress( a woman with long brown hair in pony tail ) was delightful. Went above and beyond. Even complemented my mum on her knitted cardigan as she was a avid crochet girl she said! The food was beautiful and the breads soft. Plenty of choice. Great for my mum especially. . Our request of no seafood or fish was met too. All in all, apart from the car park being away from hotel down a drive, this was a lovely place. Clean, staff smart, food was delightful and we had a lovely afternoon. Compliments to the waitress who went above and beyond to talk to us . She’s an asset to your team. Thank you.

Fab night on Wed - we were early so cld have the early bird. Absolutely gorgeous food & the tiramisu was amazing. Also they brought free garlic bread. Great friendly staff. Will definitely be back !

Bacchus had been recommended to us by a friend and so we thought we would give it a try. We were absolutely bowled over by the entire evening. The food was beautifully presented and was cooked to perfection. The staff were amazing. We didn’t have to fill our own wine glasses once and nothing was too much trouble. There was an added element of humour from the waiters which was lovely. We enjoyed everything from the white cotton table cloths to the after dinner chocolates. We will definitely be returning soon.

sat on table 1 we both had teh christmas dinner oh boy it was delicious moist turkey tasty sprouts potatoe severything couldnt fault it and theres a lot of new food on teh menu i will be trying over the coming weeks n months wife ha dteh after eight cheesecake which i thought sounded a bit odd but wife woofed it down and thoroughly enjoyed it. i had the cherry crumble it was gorgeous. Just love the Cheshire Yoeman food is faultless and delicious very reasonable prices and teh staff are great

We had a lovely anniversary meal at Lilac Cottage this weekend. The staff were really attentive and helpful but didn’t overdo it and bother us, just the right balance, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed with some traditional music and a cosy feel. The Food was really lovely! We both ordered 3 tapas dishes and then 2 to share and it was about the right amount, prices were reasonable, service was quick and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Would definitely return in future and recommend this restaurant.

Such a warm welcome, fantastic service and amazing food. We had lunch to celebrate a special occasion and we couldn’t have been happier that we chose to eat here. We will definitely be back and happily recommend to anyone. A really great experience from start to finish. Thank you to the team at Carbonara for making our day.

Bacchus is a must do on our trips to Cheshire. Always a very friendly reception and always great food and wine. We thoroughly enjoyed our latest visit. If only we could find a restaurant as good as Bacchus in our area of France. Thank you all. Les & Diane.
