Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsAs always, fabulous food and great service, always love a visit to Sage & Vine! Thank you!
Sage and Vine – CarlisleThe pasta bolognaise was Luke warm and my partners gammon was tough. Also the bread and butter pudding wasn't hot.
Greyhound Inn Cotehill – CarlisleRecommended to visit whilst we are on holiday, can see why, lovely feel to the place, really tasty food and friendly atmosphere. If we weren't going home soon we'd definitely revisit.
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsLovely food lovely little pub
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsHad another great meal at this excellent pub. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will be back on our next visit
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFabulous atmosphere food fabulous staff excellent service throughout definitely will be back
Sage and Vine – CarlisleOur good to place every time we visit the Lakes ... A small family business who work very hard to make you feel welcome with great service and food
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe had a superb experience at Mezzaluna, the staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean and tidy. And the food was amazing! We had three courses, drinks and coffee which came to around £75 which I thought was pretty good on price too. Definitely would go back there and would highly recommend an evening there. It was busy so booking is the way to go.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleMy husband and me had a fantastic meal here. His fillet steak was cooked to perfection and my king prawn curry was delicious. The Chef came and chatted with us and made ys feel welcome The lady owner/manager? was lovely and friendly. A great wee place.
Goody Blake’s – GrasmereI had possibly the best fish pie ever. Lots of fish , the sauce not overpowering and the mash with cheesy topping a cream My husband had the steak pie no complaints
Pheasant Inn – KeswickLovely friendly pub food was lovely would highly recommend
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe visited as a group of six and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent, several of us had the lamb, which was delicious. The service was great and very accommodating, especially as a couple of our group arrived slightly late due to an ill baby. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe booked for a Sunday lunch for 4 adults and was blown away with the service at the bar and having a laugh with bar staff and they couldn't do enough with a fussy eater who doesn't eat potatoes so gave extra veg and when the meals came it was cooked to perfection and veg still firm and tasty the meat was thick slices and plenty of it and all this from a country pub with not much competition around is outstanding value for money and to top it off it's dog friendly it's worth more than a 5 star review definitely going to eat again the only downside is they don't serve food on a Monday but suppose everyone is entitled to have a day off
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsWe always try and visit when we're in Keswick. It's what we call a proper pub. You can't go wrong with the Lakeland Beef Pie. It's delicious and just what you want after a good day's walking!! There's a good selection of beers and wines. The service is spot on too.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAbsolutely delicious, our family of 4 all loved their meals and puddings. The steak pie was delightful. We will definitely visit again.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickThis place smelled awful. Mouldy and musty. Zero atmosphere. Food was pretty below average. Steaks over cooked. Vegetarian offering was poor. Nothing fresh. Wouldn’t recommend and would not return. Table was sticky and yuk. Great care was given towards my two coeliac children though so thank you for that!
