Wonderful food made from scratch.Always delicious,quick service and professional staff.The chef in this Italian restaurant is amazing.We are visiting the place for quite awhile so we totally recommend it.

We had two vegetarians in our group who ordered the Tofu Stirfry - it was inedible. We were on a walking holiday and had to eat though - I was one of the vegetarians and can honestly say I have never had such a bad meal... The garlic mushroom starter was ordered by a meat-eater and was 'okay'. Our son ordered the chicken nuggets and sadly had a vomiting episode an hour later though there may have been no connection. Service was very good and atmosphere lovely.

Stopped off at Lewis's on our last night, and oh my days, it was amazing. The staff was beyond helpful and accommodating as my partner wanted the vegan curry with meat (typical) and the surf and turf i ordered was heaven on a plate the steak was cooked to perfection the prawns was cooked in a crisp light batter that left a explosion of taste I will definitely return when ever I'm in Grasmere or the surrounding area and I suggest if you're reading this book now and thank Lewis later

Excellent menu choices. Delicious food. Attentive and pleasant service. Right in Carlisle city centre 1 minute's walk from railway station. Reasonably priced. My 3rd visit and will definitely be back.

Very nice food and reasonable priced for the quality of the food. The portions sizes were generous and the staff were very friendly. We would definitely visit again and recommend to others!

Absolutely amazing food. It was our little boys birthday whilst we was there and they kindly put banners up for him. Breakfast was the best we've ever had

Tbh This is the 2nd time we’ve visited the Bistro and we were not disappointed. As I mentioned to the young waiter everything was amazing and we will surely be back.

Went for dinner on Saturday night and then back for the Sunday roast. Food both days were absolutely delicious, great size portions. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend, but definitely book ahead as it's always busy

Lovely food, good value, pleasant staff

Weekend hiking with my daughter and chose restaurant due to good reviews and we weren’t disappointed. Wine very good value steak as tender as you’d want it to be and service was excellent. All in all a very good dining experience and would definitely visit again.

Visited for the first time on Saturday evening. Although the main menu was very comprehensive, we both chose from the specials board. Both dishes, chicken with bearnaise sauce , and cod fillet with soy, garlic and chilli sauce, were amazing. Service was good and staff very friendly. Will definitely be back on our next visit to Keswick.

My wife is lactose & Gluten free so we booked with in trepidation we needn’t of worried as they were very accommodating and the food was excellent would definitely book again

My favourite restaurant in Carlisle,always have the meat cannelloni,delicious Always ask to sit downstairs for the great atmosphere

We actually travelled over an hour to come back for a second visit at this lovely restaurant. It was well worth the trip! We thoroughly enjoyed all the excellent food. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff are very welcoming. Plus, they even allow dogs.
