Meal was lovely, staff were great, atmosphere was really good. A really nice place to go for an authentic Italian meal.

The staff are friendly but professional and attentive. We were served quickly & efficiently and The Food was exceptional.

Great service, lovely food, nice atmosphere

Went yesterday evening for dinner, booking is recommended as it gets quite busy. Welcoming pleasant staff, table was ready on arrival. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and of excellent quality too. Starters dinner desserts and beer and wine for 2, £79. Will definitely be back soon. A hidden gem of a restaurant and would recommend to visit if in Carlisle too.

Incredibly tasty food and great portion sizes especially after a long walk. Very friendly staff and great service despite one server bringing another tables food to our table. Great to see a gluten free beer on tap and Gf peroni. Lots of options for gluten intolerant diets but we didn't enquire about how they cater for coeliacs.

So impressed with the food - restaurant quality at pub prices. Haven’t eaten here before but will definitely be back on our next trip to the Lakes.

Enjoyed our first visit. Food and service very good. Not as good for me on our second visit. Please review your Thai style curry. Too sweet with no depth of flavour. Strange combination of vegetables, and too many stringy mange tout. Didn't eat it and wasn't asked by the young waitress why . Restaurant was full and tables close together, didn't want to cause a fuss. Disappointed. Hope however, my opinion on this dish is useful?

Party of two people on a walking weekend stayed locally to Badger Bar. Had both evening meals here. First night fish and chips, mushy peas and tartar sauce. Second night steak pie and chips. Service is excellent at the bar and restauaurant, the staff are very polite and helpful. Both meals were well cooked and large portions to satisfy the hungriest of people after a long hike. I would recommend the Badger bar and restaurant to anyone. We do think the price are a tad high but accept the fact. Also we are not dog people and having dogs in a restaurant is a not an ideal scenario for us. Maybe they should have a separate area for people who dine with, or without dogs! Maybe outside if you have dogs! Overall, thank you to the staff for looking after us.

Excellent dinner for 2, great vibe in the cozy room. Attentive service. Appetizer of whipped feta and pita with a crisp Sauvignon blanc got the evening off to a delicious start. Highly recommended

Stopped for an evening meal on my way home from the lakes. Very nice meal and very pleasant and helpful staff.
