Pheasant Inn – KeswickA new find for me, and one that I am thrilled to have made. A fantastic setting for a very good restaurant. Takes some finding (the local authority will not allow signage), but well worth it once you get there. Food was excellent, generous portions, and the menu allows many different foods to be enjoyed. I will be returning next time that I am in Langdale, and will be recommending to friends and family.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereReally good food in the pheasant inn, this visit was lunchtime and decided to try the fish pie it was amazing full of flavour with salmon white fish , prawns and mussels served with peas and carrots would certainly recommend it
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The staff were very friendly. We both had the chicken curry and it was excellent and at a price we thought was worth paying. And to top everything, we got to see 5 badgers in the feeding area.
Glen Rothay Hotel and Badger Bar – RydalGreat food and lovely staff. Small place which is nice. Great little bistro. Highly recommend.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWhenever we go to Keswick we always book The Pheassnt and have never been disappointed. Lovely pub with welcoming staff and great food. You won't get better food anywhere else in Keswick.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickBooked a table for 4 for Sunday lunch. Table was ready for us on arrival. The staff were very professional and polite, and catered for all our needs. The Sunday roast was delicious, served nice and hot and very tasty. Would definitely recommend a visit to family and friends, and will book another table when we are in the area.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAnother gorgeous meal at Mezzaluna. We brought family who had not dined there before & they were very impressed. Fantastic friendly staff as always too.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleWe are regulars in the cafe and always enjoy the tasty lunches and relaxing atmosphere. Having tried a few evening meals, we're now taking friends and family when they're visiting. Can't stay away! The food is so fresh, locally sourced and imaginatively prepared
Farmers Arms – UlverstonWe came for Sunday lunch with our two dogs. Food was excellent, best Sunday lunch we've had in a long time. Service attentive. All round excellent. Thank you.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFantastic pub in a perfect location. Great food and very well kept ales. One of the best beer gardens in the Lakes too.
Britannia Inn – AmblesideGreat service and lovely food what more can I say. I would highly recommend.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereLovely evening meal at Grants. Service was attentive but relaxed . Offered choice of where to sit, we selected the conservatory. Gluten free options were clear and the chef also agreed to adjust one of the non gluten free options to make it suitable which was great. All food was beautifully presented and delicious. A very nice evening and would revisit if in the area again I future.
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithReally excellent chicken Jalfrezi. Surprised how good it was. Cash only venue. Needs a lick of paint thats for sure!
Prince of India – WindermereWe dined early ay 1800hrs and were first to enter Lewis's Bistro. We received a warm welcome and shown to our reserved table. The food that we ordered was of excellent quality, superbly cooked by the chef and well presented at table. The low volume background music and the arrival of other diners soon created a comfortable dining experience. Unfortunately, we dined on the last evening of our holiday in Grasmere, otherwise we would have returned to sample other dishes on the menu. Highly recommended.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereFabulous place to stay ,food was delicious. See you soon definitely
Glen Rothay Hotel and Badger Bar – RydalWe had a lovely meal and the staff were very attentive. Thanks.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeHad a delicious lunch with my fiancee here yesterday. The service was excellent and the owner told us all about the food what was getting prepared for us. 3 small plates for £20 was well worth it and the bread and dips were amazing. Will definitely be coming back for date day there again soon.
