We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch of sausage and mash and sticky toffee pudding. Delicious! Wonderful food and atmosphere, highly recommend the Badger Bar.

Last night of our holiday, had booked on recommendation, certainly not one of your swish plastic funky pubs, in fact gives the impression you have just walked into a 1900’s front room. Don’t be put off all pleased to see you. shown to your table, judging by the next 90 minutes very popular. Service prompt, food outstandingly good prices in line with most decent eating establishments. Unfortunately not on our doorstep being 300 miles away, but if you haven’t tried I suggest you do. Lewis's is the best restaurant in Grasmere, indeed I would say in the area. The food is always seriously good. The wine is carefully chosen and always pleases. Service is spot on. Tables are cosy, intimate and comfortable. Everything about this small unassuming restaurant is first class. My partner and I always book when we're in the Lakes and there's the rub, you have to book, theyr'e often fully booked , that says everything.

Lovely wee pub, great food and friendly staff. We booked dinner here while holidaying on the area and weren’t disappointed. Quick service with a smile, tasty food and reasonable prices. Would recommend!

Booked a table at The Pheasant to celebrate my birthday on the last day of our holiday. The atmosphere was great, the welcome warm, and the food and service amazing! Food was also value for money as the portions were good. We have already decided to come back to Keswick next year, so The Pheasant is definitely on our list for a return visit! Thank you for a lovely meal.

We came because of an article in the Guardian online on lesser known parts of Cumbria, and I'm glad we did. Best pub we visited by far. Food was delicious - the chips in particular are really good, although everything was tasty. It was our last night of holiday but would definitely return another time.

Came across this little gem of an in-dependant restaurant on our last visit to Grasmere in April and were well satisfied. On our most recent visit to Grasmere we ate there each night working our way through the menu. We have not been disappointed. Well cooked food and friendly staff we could not ask for more.

Excellent food,service and ambience. We celebrated our recent wedding anniversary at Lewis's Bistro and had a lovely evening with good quality food,service and ambience. Would highly recommend.

We visited yesterday evening and we can say without hesitation that the service and the food was excellent We were a group of 4 , two of us had the Seabass and Samphire and two had the fillet steak - they were all excellent meals very tasty and beautifully presented , we also all had desserts which were also excellent The member of staff that served us was friendly and knowledgeable with a great sense of hum our and made us all feel very welcome They had a good selection of GF / dietary options and were very knowledgeable when assisting with our choices Thank you to all the team at Lewis’s for a fantastic evening

East to book,attention to table as soon as we sat down ,drinks ordered and after a few minutes food order taken. Excellent food choice and excellent food at a very reasonable price . Very pleasant and well mannered staff in very busy visit. Been visiting Keswick for years and always book the Pheasant.

We had a lovely evening, staff were great. Atmisphere, friendly , we will definitley go back next time we are in Grasmere. Husband enjoyed the black pudding starter, and we both had chicken mains. I was a bit disappointed , felt it was a bit dry , had ecpected it would have more sauce. I was given a pot of peppercorn sauce which sorted me out. All in all, had a nice evening , will return and try some different meals.
