Service and food was excellent as usual

Excellent food and service we tried steak pie, Cumberland sausage, vegetable risotto and scampi. Generous portions and served with separate vegetables. All meals were truly gorgeous the staff were very attentive and seamed happy to see all diners. I would definitely recommend to everyone and we will most certainly return.

As always the food here did not disappoint. We both had risotto, one chicken and spring veg and the other a seafood one, both delicious. Great attentive service with a smile! Our favourite Italian restaurant by miles.

Weekend visit to Penrith. Our visit to Grant’s was a delight. The food was amazing, the staff friendly and attentive. We highly recommend.

We had a very nice meal here, all of us really happy with food choice. It would have been nice to have more gluten free choice and as your menu states you offer gluten free oat cakes it would have been nice if cheese board could have been gluten free.

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea. There was a varied selection of savouries instead of sandwiches which was a nice change. Every piece of food was beautifully presented and had lovely flavours. Could have as many cups of tea/coffee as needed. Staff very friendly. Sat in a relaxed environment, in a lovely setting.

Brilliant location. Brilliant meal. Booked again for the Sunday roast and nights stay.

Looking forward to visiting again after several years

We would highly recommend the private dining for a special occasion. Our family group of chldren and adults, ranging from a young baby to 70 plus year olds, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The room was attractive, comfortable and private. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was tasty. The children were well catered for and so were the vegetarians in the party and a child with allergies. Augill Castle made the day very memorable.
