La Mezzaluna – CarlisleBeautiful meal, lovely service, elegant venue.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereFab! ♥️
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereLove this place, it’s the second time we’ve visited and was just as amazing as the first time. Definitely a little gem in grasmere!
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereFood was great. Desserts to die for!
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleFantastic evening, service and food outstanding only complaint was the restaurant was to warm apart from that amazing :)
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereIt did what it said on the tin. Pub food, served promptly with a smile. We were in the worst table for 2 in the pub but it didn’t spoil our experience considering it was a last minute booking on Easter Saturday. We will be going back. Excellent food and great pub atmosphere
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeAbsolutely delicious food; friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere. Lewis’s offers food that is more special than a pub meal, but the restaurant is still nice and relaxed and we felt that it was good value. A lovely treat!
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereFirst time in this restaurant and can't wait to go back! Staff are lovely, nice atmosphere and very good value for money.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleFriendly staff and 10/10 food, me and my girlfriend love it!!
La Mezzaluna – Carlisle10 out of 10 yet again. Not the first time we’ve eaten at Grant’s as we are local so it’s on our doorstep we’ve always had a lovely meal & staff lovely too especially Heather. We will be back !!
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithI had the Monkfish, this was served with rosti potatoes in a sauce and vegetables. Unfortunately the sauce made the rosti potatoes soggy and unpalatable. The meal was served in a bowl which and with the sauce made everything soggy. The dish would have been better served on a plate with the sauce in a pot! My wife had the Duck breast, the duck breast skin should have been nice and crispy, it wasn’t! The chocolate fondant was dry and not ‘gooey’ as I was expecting. Overall we were very dissatisfied with the meal! Regards Alan Taylor
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithVery pleasant meal at the Greyhound Cotehill. The service was pleasant and friendly. The roaring fire was most welcome after a day on the fells. Recommend the Hunters chicken.
Greyhound Inn Cotehill – CarlisleWhat a fantastic evening we had at Augill castle , hospitality was fab and the food was amazing . Great atmosphere . Thanks
The Music Room Restaurant at Augill Castle – Kirkby StephenBeautiful place, very cosy and welcoming. We had a lovely afternoon tea, the food was lovely and enjoyable. A very relaxed atmosphere and the staff were very attentive. Would definitely recommend a visit.
The Music Room Restaurant at Augill Castle – Kirkby StephenBeautiful Sunday lunch beef was fantastic. Cheesecake was even better, really nice beer will be coming back next time we are in the area
Greyhound Inn Cotehill – CarlisleWe had a really lovely meal on Saturday evening. We were celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary so it had to be special. We weren’t disappointed, the food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and the staff very attentive. We shall certainly be making a return visit.
