Pheasant Inn – KeswickHere in Cark on holiday We always eat at the Hope and Anchor with its extensive menu and lovely food The staff always make us feel welcome
Hope and Anchor – Grange-over-SandsI booked a table for my parents and I for 1215. Our order was taken quite quickly, however our food didnt arrive until nearly 13.15! This was not as good service as the meal that we had when we visited here in April as walk ins we were accommodated and the food arrived very quickly. There were also other people around us that had a similar wait for the food after ordering. The roast potatoes were well done and hard to cut and the Yorkshire pudding was burnt
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFabulous meal with great friendly service. Got 2 pizzas and 7 small plates for 5 of us and it was plenty. Particularly loved the Baked Feta. Highly recommend
Sage and Vine – CarlisleHaving spent time deciding where to eat we chose Goody Blake's It was quiet as there was a storm outside. The food was excellent, cooked properly and with care. We enjoyed it that much we booked for a second evening. I would definitely recommend.
Goody Blake’s – GrasmereGood food but poor service despite promises. Delicious scallops and belly pork but I don’t want my scallop starter while I’m still drinking my aperitif and I don’t want my main course popped down as the just finished starter plate is lifted. We had that experience first visit and were assured it wouldn’t happen again but it did. Shame, it could be a really nice restaurant if they can lose the feel of trying to rush things.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereI was in a group of 4 people eating on a Friday night, it was busy upon entering but we were shown to our table straight away. The service was excellent and all of our food did not disappoint at all. We will all return very soon and would recommend it to everyone who enjoys quality Italian food.
Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – CarlisleAmazing food and quality service. Definitely recommended.
Sage and Vine – CarlisleWonderful food, great atmosphere and lovely staff! This is such a little gem of a pub.. huge credit to the staff who are all so friendly and welcoming and it’s very evident that this pub thrives from the great service and great food. Huge bonus that dogs are welcomed.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeBeen here a good few times. Quality is the only word, great food and service
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleFood excellent, service mostly great but sometimes a bit slowing you like tasty well presented and original food you will enjoy your meal here. But don't go if your pressed for time
Pheasant Inn – KeswickHad a couple of disappointing meals elsewhere in Grasmere so tried here on the last night. Had a wonderful meal. Belly pork and chicken were delicious. Sweets and starters lovely. Definitely come again.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereAbsolutely Amazing Food As Always
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleWould definitely go again. The Food was perfectly cooked and very tasty.Staff attentive and friendly.
Horse and Farrier – PenrithWe normally visit at lunchtimes for the beef pie - gorgeous! but my wife's always wanted to visit in the evening and try the venison bourguingon. The food, as usual, more than met our expectations, and the service was as friendly and efficient as it is at lunchtime. Must be the best pub in Keswick!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickYet another satisfying two visits to this bistro this week. Food and service excellent as always.
