Whins Green KitchenExcellent as usual. We had a birthday booking for lunch time and we were certainly not disappointed. Menu choices were really good and food quality superb. We have been several times but this surpassed anything we’ve had before. I had the cheese soufflé which was outstanding and the baked Camembert which was a delight. Staff were polite and professional as always and we had a lovely lunchtime. The birthday treats at the end of the meal simply added to the whole experience. Thank you and we will definitely be back.
Toms Table – ClitheroeWas part of a large party on a Xmas meal out upstairs in this restaurant. The food was not very nice at all and poorly presented. I had chicken breast in a creamy sauce with mushrooms and peppers. It was served on a cold plate on a cold flat wrap so was barely warm when it arrived, and did not look appetising. Booked for 7.30pm meal arrived at 9.10pm. The room was extremely cold and I sat with my coat on all night. No effort had been made to make the room look Christmassy despite there being space up there for a tree.
Anatolia Grill – St HelensLovely food at a reasonable price.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallOur 2nd visit in a week. 1st. Visit we hadn’t booked but were graciously taken to a table with a view and had an absolutely excellent steak and Stilton pie. Yesterday we did book just for a quick lunch as we were travelling to Knutsford. We had chicken and crispy bacon ciabatta. Again very good. Lovely decor, good friendly service. Can’t recommend highly enough. We’ll be back.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWhat a find this place is. We were on holiday and staying close by so booked for our final evening. From the warm welcome to wonderful cocktails, delicious food and excellent service we couldn't fault anything except we wished we lived closer! Hope to return in a years time.
Toms Table – ClitheroeMy wife and I had a lovely meal on Friday , my wife had the chicken sizzler and I had the fish pie both were tasty and great value , the staff were very attentive and pleasant, and with the newly refurbished decor it was a very nice and relaxing evening , something we both said we should do again , thanks see you soon
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallHad an amazing night. Food was excellent, staff are so friendly and we always get the most warmest of welcomes when we arrive. Service is exactly what you want. Not pushy just take our time. Overall an outstanding restaurant.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent food and excellent service! Will definitely be back again. Thank you.
Solea Restaurant & Wine Bar – Blackburn1st visit. Very quiet, one large party leaving as we arrived, otherwise empty. Menu supplied was much reduced from what was on the website so had to make a different choice. Food came quickly & was hot. Others ate all theirs (pork) but I had the brisket & it was 60% fat & therefore most of it left on the plate. Was served with French fries & onion slaw & cabbage (which is what most of my edible meal consisted off). Staff where helpful & service was quick (but it was a late sitting & the place was empty). I made the booking to try it but all in all I was disappointed & I won't be returning......! Each paid £20 for 1 course & a drink.
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonQuattro’s came highly recommended and now I know why. The ambiance tucked away there on Rainford Road was lovely. The staff were warm and welcoming. The food was the best quality. My wife and I would definitely visit again.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkOur happy place
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyAbsolutely delicious and delightful meal. We met up with friends from afar and thought this might be a good place to eat - simply because I'd been past so many times and was curious. We two couples each had the 5 dish for two sharing. Plus wine, beer, and coffees. The dishes were excellent. Timings were excellent. Service was excellent. Definitely coming back.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallLove the refurbishment. Enjoyed food as always. Good service.Delicious warm choc sauce on my ice cream!!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFoods awesome, no where in the area like it. Would pay a visit, if you’re debating it. Staff were helpful and polite, the only small thing I’d point out is, it is slightly on the chilly side in the restaurant which in the beginning I have to be honest did make me a little nervous going forward. After climatising we were fine and the food made up for the lack of temperature!
Smokin Vs Real Barbecue – PrestonWent with my daughter yesterday. First time since the refurbishment, the whole place and the staff felt very welcoming. Glad we booked as it was very busy. We had starters and mains, the food was really well cooked and the price was reasonable for such quality. Definitely down for a revisit.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallBooked a table well in advance for 4 and requested to be seated away from the bar area. They sat us near the bar on a circular table With 2 tub chairs and a 2 seater sofa not Ideal with a circular table and obviously sat lower than on normal chairs, not ideal with 2 younger children. Food was good along with the service just a shame they didn't read the booking information.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallHad a great evening. The service from our waitress Hannah was great despite having the England World Cup game crowd to attend to as well. The food was of an exceptional standard. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their choices. We will certainly be back again very very soon.
