Visited on 9th December party of 4. Excellent service and amazing food with a creative twist. Lovely ambience will definitely return.
Solea Restaurant & Wine Bar – BlackburnWent for my birthday to Solea and we had such wonderful flavoursome food from their Festive Menu. Also I would like to praise the staff for being friendly and attentive- we will certainly return in the near future.
Solea Restaurant & Wine Bar – BlackburnWe’ve eaten here for years, and maybe it’s me that’s changed but I didn’t enjoy my experience this time. The place looks tired and lacks atmosphere. Food was ok but not excellent and the service was vague and unprofessional.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterFantastic food and service, already looking forward to the next visit! Cannot recommend enough 10/10.
Solea Restaurant & Wine Bar – BlackburnHad our birthday celebration 17 of us on Weds 7th, it was fantastic Staff were brilliant service excellent and the food was served all together and everybody commented how sumptuous it was This restaurant must be one of the best in St Helen’s and we certainly be returning and thank you for making our birthday special
Anatolia Grill – St HelensWe met up with some friends for dinner whilst visiting our son and daughter in law in Helmshore and on our daughter in laws recommendation booked the Whitchaff. So pleased we did, the food was excellent and the staff outstanding. We are visiting again in January and the Whitchaff will definitely be having another visit from us.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThe Inn has been impressively updated and now has more of a restaurant feel; the food was excellent, as was the service from the young staff
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallCame for the first time last week. I have to say it was the nicest Italian food I’ve ever eaten, delicious. The service was excellent, the staff are extremely friendly. Already booked for this Saturday.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkGreat meal felt let down with the service
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFantastic , just a shame some of the guests choose to use their mobiles with background videos while eating and make burp without an apology
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThe decor is lovely, and a lovely fire as you come in. We were sat away from the bar in the back near the windows it was a little cold, but we had a radiator by our table so wasn't too bad. We had the Festive menu, and the Food was delicious and so well presented. I had the Duck pate it was beautiful the only criticism was an extra piece of bread would have been nice as more pate than bread, and the bread was lovely. The Cheese pie was the best I have ever had, I would give it a 100/10, it look beautiful and was so light and delicious and the chips were scrumptious.. Everything was cooked to perfection, could tell quality ingredients were used, it was nice to see vegetables put on a plate, as many places see to scrap these. My friends had the Muscles and risotto and both really enjoyed their dishes and they can be hard to please. Service was great, the waiter and waitress both made sure we were looked after. I have only scored the atmosphere as 4 as we were the only ones in, being a Tuesday. Really hope they succeed and will be back in the New year to try the normal menu. Recommend going as the food is stunning.
Solea Restaurant & Wine Bar – BlackburnFood was lovely, our waitress was very friendly and welcoming and it looks fantastic after its refurb a very relaxing atmosphere. Will definitely be going back and it’s a bonus that it’s on our doorstep.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe enjoyed another delicious Sunday lunch last week. Food, service and atmosphere excellent. Living in Penwortham we enjoy having such a good restaurant nearby and as last Sunday have brought family and friends with us who have all been impressed by the standard at Bread and Butter. Look forward to our next visit!
Bread and Butter – PrestonExcellent meal, nice and relaxed between courses, lovely staff. Couldn't fault anything.
The Station Hotel – LancasterWe took a couple with whom we regularly have lunch at different places to Tom's Table, our favourite local restaurant. As usual the food, service and overall experience was fantastic. The lunchtime offer was both seasonal (it's heading towards Christmas) and the standard varued offer. Between the 4 of us we had a wide-range of dishes across starters, mains and desserts; everything was beautifully presented, tasty and very interesting food. This was far from our first visit and definitely won't be our last.
Toms Table – ClitheroeGreat little find. Food was fantastic and the waiter/waitress was very attentive. Would highly recommend to anyone. I traveled a fair way to get here and will do again in the new year.
