Had another wonderful meal at Whins Green yesterday. The usual friendly service and delicious food. The roast dinner was tasty and just what was needed on a grey day. The Tiramisu was light and scrumptious.

We went for lunch on the 30th Nov. The food was really very good.There we’re 4 of us , a couple had starters , Baked Halloumi, and Onion soup. 2 mains were Steak and Kidney pie with chips, which I was told was lovely, pastry well cooked and plenty of filling The table server offered us extra gravy on the side in a small jug, which we were charged £2.50, ( bit pricy) . Another guest had the Sea food platter, which was all lovely, quite a lot of fish , but a take away box was offered. I had Chicken Kiev , which is totally retro but I thought , let’s try it. It wasn’t how I remembered it tho, the melted butter was in a small dish on the side, not as I thought it would have been , in the centre of the chicken breast, it was also wrapped in bacon, with I think a crumb coating. It tasted really good, the chicken was moist and a generous portion size, together with chips, coleslaw and a serving of iceberg lettuce with Parmesan shavings, made a very tasty meal, however not Chicken Kiev as I recalled it. The service was excellent, all staff we spoke with were very chatty and friendly, the ambiance of the place is lovely, plus very clean, warm and welcoming . We will be back . Thank you.

Fabulous food, wine and service. The avocado and crab starter was beautifully presented and delicious. Had lobster special....and it was. Affogato with mirto was great. Best restaurant in our area and wider.

Food and service was very good and great value. The only downside was our table which was next to the door for access to the ladies toilets, on saying that we came back the next day for lunch which again was great value and tasty .it’s certainly a place we will visit again next time we are in Burnley.

Been coming here for over 20 years, I’ve not had one bad meal yet. It should be a Michelin star Resturant. Staff are fantastic, make you feel so welcome. Sam totally runs the whole place, like clockwork, she’s so friendly, warm and knowledgable., nothing is ever too much, Carmelo and Nerino are two authentic Italians who make you feel like your sitting in the middle of Sorento. They always pick us lovely wines. Such gentlemen. This is the place to go for real authentic Italian food . Keep up the hard work.

We dined as a family at the Sultan on Sunday evening and it was fabulous. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive and the food was excellent and good value. We will be back!

When theirs a box after you make a reservation about special requests I alway put in we require a high chair at the table for my child and quite a lot of places never get this sorted ! When we arrived here we was shown to our table and it was set up perfect with the high chair in place and we was able to get settled in very quick !! Food was lovely !! And all staff very helpful ! 100% back again soon to try other items I liked on menu

Yet another superb meal at Bread and Butter. This time it was Sunday lunch, and the quality of the meal was absolutely first rate. Fabulous service in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and incredible value for money. Not to be missed.

Loved the menu and the surroundings. Will definitely return.

Had a lovely Sunday Lunch, we had the sharing Sunday Lunch it was so good and a great variety, service was fab, staff are really friendly, it was so cosy with the fires lit watching the snow come down, fab atmosphere, we can't wait to come back, can't find anything negative to say it was that good.

We arrived to check and was greated with a friendly smile and made to feel welcome. We were shown to our room and was given all details of dinner and breakfast on the walk there. Rooms are located out the back of the bar/restaurant. A warm, clean cosy room was waiting for us. The beds are comfortable, we had a kettle with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, milk and biscuits. Small soaps and shower gels are provided in the bathroom. The room was so clean and fresh. Evening meal was delicious, the chicken kiev is the best I've ever tasted. Potions are large. The restaurant was busy but every member of staff were smiling and friendly. They deserved every penny of the tip left and were very grateful. Had a lovely nights sleep, so peaceful and cosy. Breakfast, we went for the full English, again this was a plate full of food, really delicious but to much for my small appetite. We only stayed the one night but definitely will return. Thank you for a lovely night.

It was our first time visiting and we loved it! The atmosphere, the staff and the food were all fab!! All 4 of us went for the chicken Kiev which was the best meal we’ve had in a long time!

A lovely meal with the family. First time we have been in the evening but have been for afternoon teas twice during the summer. We will be coming back xx

First time we've been to Tom's Table. The lunch menu was comprehensive and varied: the food was excellent and great value. The staff were a joy,very attentive but not intrusive. Next time we're in Clitheroe we'll be making a return visit.
