I have been to Le Bistro many times and always been thoroughly delighted. Last Sunday was no exception. Pleasant attentive young staff and top class food. My brisket was succulent and well cooked and the red wine gravy delicious. My husbands belly pork tender and perfect crackling. The portions are generous and unfortunately we couldn't eat a sweet. For my taste the vegetables are a little undercooked. But " crisp" vegetables are infinitely better than " soggy" . Creamy potatoes and perfect roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings. It was quiet as a sunny day I think. So atmosphere not really applicable ( only us dining).

We visited this restaurant in Cottingham at the weekend and booked a table. The service was excellent, and the food was outstanding. Our server, Ellie, was so polite and welcoming – she really made us feel comfortable. Even though it was quite busy, everything ran smoothly. The only slight downside was that furniture was being moved around in front of us, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. We stayed into the evening for the band, who were fantastic, and it really added to the atmosphere. For such a small place that’s usually full of drinkers, the quality of the food really stood out. A brilliant evening overall!

My friend and I wanted to visit as we’d heard such good things. We were not disappointed at all. The food was fresh and innovative. The staff were attentive and kind. We’ll definitely be back!

I had dinner twice at Le Bistro while staying in Skipton. Perhaps the fact I went back a second time says it all! The food and service were both excellent. I had different things each night and they were all great but I would especially mention the whole roast partridge which was a special that is not always on the menu. The restaurant was not very busy but hopefully a good review will help encourage more customers! I though the prices were very reasonable but then I am used to London prices.

Have visited several times. The atmosphere and service are lovely & relaxed. The food is always amazing - lots of variety, fresh, vibrant, incredibly tasty, and beautifully presented. Love being able to choose and share lots of different plates.

Excellent Sunday lunch carvery

The best Greek restaurant in Hull. Hands down. Cannot fault anything about this place. The food is incredibly tasty, reasonably priced and very good portions. We've never had a disappointing visit and intend to keep coming back for many years. This is a must-try if you've never been.

I had a fantastic Sunday Lunch on 26th September and the service was excellent only one gripe, my husband and I are pensioners so only eat standard carvery which is understandable and we were charged for XXL , didn't realise until we got home so wasn't too pleased so beware check your bill .

Had a roast dinner, the beef was perfectly cooked and the whole meal was so delicious! Good service and nice atmosphere, we will definitely come again when we are next in the area.

We went for a late sunday afternoon meal and were not disappointed . Food was fantastic, so flavourful, cooked beautifully and service excellant. There was a sunday offer on which we didnt know about at the time of booking , which made it incredible value . Nothing bad to say about the whole experience

We came for brunch and the food was amazing! I had the veggie huevos rancheros and cannot stop thinking about how good it was. Great coffee too. We had the kids with us and they enjoyed the options on the kids menu. We have booked again for an evening with friends and I am very much looking forward to trying the cocktails. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are super friendly. The food was a little slow coming out one bit at a time, but that is easily forgiven when it tastes so good.

Excellent food, piping hot, tasty and good portion size too. Lovely atmosphere in the pub / restaurant with a warm fire going. Would definitely return if we were in the area again.

We visited around 12pm and tried the new Sunday roast — it was absolutely delicious! We’re new to this restaurant and we will definitely be coming back. The restaurant was quiet at the time, but that seems to be the case for many places in the UK at the moment. With the quality of food we had today, we’re sure this place will continue to build a loyal local following. We’ll be recommending this little gem we’ve found in Cottenham to our friends and family.

Visited Banarasi based on excellent online reviews. Not disappointed. Absolutely first class food, beautifully cooked and flavoured. Best Indian food we have had in this area and as good as much more expensive restaurants in London we have tried. Look forward to our next visit.
