Had another fantastic evening at Food For Cowboys. The food is delicious with really unique ingredients and flavours, so tasty! Special mentions go to the banana blossom tacos, the maple corn ribs and the (appropriately dirty!) deep fried cherry pie! The staff are lovely, very attentive and friendly. The upstairs restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere playing Latin music at a volume that still allows conversation and the decor makes you feel like you're in a Mexican cantina. The drinks also deserve a mention with a great selection of cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines and soft drinks all complimenting the menu perfectly. A gem in Hull's culinary scene!

We went here for my 60th birthday celebrations. Service, food, atmosphere and whole experience was exceptional. We all enjoyed it.

Booked in advance and met friends for lunch. Meals were lovely and all came at the same time. Staff were very attentive and were quick to get orders. Can’t fault it lovely location and lovely food

Went for the first time for a wedding anniversary meal. Had the all you can eat menu. Really good value and all cooked fresh for you. Had a wonderful evening and will be back.

The food was absolutely gorgeous, The chef came and had a chat which was a lovely touch and the waitress was so lovely, polite, attentive and couldnt do more for you! we would highly recommend anyone to go! an amazing experience from the minute we walked in, Thankyou so much

Very nice evening meal. Good choice, started with Duck Bon Bons and Whitebait, followed by Lambs Liver and Pork Medallions. All excellent, and generous portions. Service was very friendly both in restaurant and bar.

We stumbled across the Goodluck Club while on a holiday in Leeds. We were very pleased with our discovery. The staff are so friendly and the food is reasonably priced and very tasty. Portions are a good size. It is an easy restaurant to recommend.

Fantastic food and a surprise bouquet of flowers with two glasses of pink prosecco. Wonderful service could not stop eating. Loyal fans now. Will be back

Service was great as usual, with the staff being attentive and helpful. Sadly the fish pie was not at the same standard, with it being dry and mostly salmon. There was a big party in, it was a little noisier than usual nit enough to spoil our night.

We were a party of 6 and enjoyed a really lovely meal . We had Sunday dinners , vegetarian meal and burgers. Every meal was beautifully cooked and we were served by a really lovely guy. Would definitely return if ever in the area agsin

Two of us had Sunday lunch here. The portions were generous, the beef and chicken were both very tender and the Yorkshire puddings were huge! The food was tasty and very enjoyable. We managed to have e puddings as well! The staff were very helpful and attentive without being intrusive. There was a lot of noise from the kitchen which was a bit of a minor distraction.

We had a meal at Sambuca on Sunday evening. All three of us said the meal was fantastic. The service was very friendly and attentive. I had the sea bass with lemon butter. It was amazing. My husband had lamb chops which he said were delicious. My friend had the mushroom risotto which again was delicious. The atmosphere, service and food were all five star.

My husband and myself booked a table at Cassiel bar in Cottingham on Friday 21st of August was a birthday present . We both ordered the battered Haddock. Well I had to leave most of mine , the chips and salad was ok but the batter on the fish was awful was really thick and inside was stodgy, hardly any fish was all hard thick batter . My husband actually ate his but then during the night he was ill . I have had meals there before and have been lovely, but this time was really not good .

Eight guests attended for a 70th Birthday. All had good helpings and all clean plates! Five had dessert - all clean plates! Great food - great atmosphere - great service and a great afternoon - thank you x
