Very quaint no fuss establishment food is very good, local produce and what I would describe as homely and hearty. Portions are good and the early evening menu is excellent value. Highly recommended.

Visited for the 1st time last night, warmly welcomed by our fantastic host/waitress for the night. Service was amazing. We chose the homemade chicken spring rolls for starters then had King Prawn Pad Thai and a Yellow Curry with Pork Belly and Rice for mains......and WOW this has to be hands down the best Thai food we have ever had and one of the best meals in any restaurant. We will definitely be returning here many times.

Very good service. We booked a table, but got stuck in traffic. We phoned to let them know we would be late, and they held our table for us, despite being fully booked. Would certainly go there again.

Absolutely loved spending time in the cafe interacting with the gorgeous cats who seemed to enjoy our company just as much! The cafe is perfect for the cats they are so well cared for and have everything they need - the staff were so friendly as well as professional - the prices for drinks and cake were very reasonable I would without a doubt recommend Jackson’s Rescue Cat Cafe to anyone who loves cats you won’t be disappointed.

Not as good as it used to be. Took ages for our burgers to come. Couple next to us were seated after us and had eaten their food and left before us! Our burgers came like they’d been thrown together. Luke warm. Excessive cheese sauce falling off the plate! Some burnt chips too. But, the chicken wings were nice.

Trip down memory lane as we remember the origin What’s cooking on the Wirral. The food was as good as ever and true to its origins. The service was friendly and efficient and as a prelude to an evening at the area made for a fantastic night out.

Always eat here before going to Vue cinema. Lovely staff who couldn’t have been more helpful when my daughter wanted to create her own vegan pizza. I had the lasagne - a generous portion and it was delicious. I would recommend Roberto’s. Main course prices are comparable to other restaurants, and the food quality is good. However, though sorely tempted, I resisted a starter of BBQ ribs as I thought it was a bit pricey at £8.50.

It's always been the best Chinese I go to tbh but just a few things service great place stunning food lovely but small portions and I found it quite expensive tbh soft drinks are just as dear as alcohol but still enjoyed food just a bit more would be great

Food was beautiful, very good value for money. Very attentive waiting staff, we had a really good few hours and will definitely come again.

As usual a great meal, superb pizzas and a few people loved the Scouse.

Great atmosphere, delicious food and the staff were lovely! I thought the little dessert given free at the end of the meal, was a great touch to an already good value for money menu! This restaurant is now officially my favourite in Liverpool.

What a happy place this cafe is! Lovely atmosphere and surroundings, friendly staff, tasty cake and coffee, and then there are the gorgeous cats! They are so playful and bold, happy to approach visitors and, in some cases, curl up next to them for a little catnap. I certainly felt like I'd enjoyed plenty of interaction with the cats and it was lovely to see them wandering about and playing so contendedly. There's also plenty of opporunity to chat to the staff about the cats and the amazing work Jacksons Animal Resuce does. I highly recommend a visit, it really was an uplifiting and happy experience. Can't wait to go back, thank you xxx

Second time at What’s Cooking and it was great. Good service, good value, high quality food and good atmosphere in the restaurant. Would recommend and go again.

Fantastic pre theatre food. Pizzas are lovely and the sides were great too. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.

2 of us had a lovely meal on Thursday. Nice atmosphere and helpful friendly staff. Lovely food. My only negative is that there was only one vegan main course on offer, so if I came again I'd have to order the same meal. Wine was good.
