Absolutely delicious, highly recommend this resturant

Would very highly recommend Christakis the staff are lovely, the food is outstanding and the meze at £20 a head is incredible value for money.

From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome the staff are very nice and the food was lovely if I’m ever in Liverpool again we will definitely go back here

This little gem is now one of our fave places for coffee and cake. The cakes are yummy, the hot drink selection is great and there’s a good range of cold drinks. The venue is lovely and the cats are super cute!! The staff (volunteers) are also super helpful and friendly.

Lovely ambiance, food was flavoursome hot and plenty of it . Hostess was attentive without constantly checking on you, great value for money.

Regular visitor to this wonderful restaurant and once again the whole visit was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff and, as ever, great food. Can recommend most things on the menu, especially the bacon chop, wagu burger and shepherds pie. See you again soon !

We couldn’t fault anything, everything was perfect. The food came out quickly and piping hot. The service was fantastic and we did not feel rushed. We would return.

We alway visit Ma E’s for a meal before going to the theatre. I think this was the 4th visit in as many weeks. Food as always was amazing, no skimpy portions either! Scouse is always a must but you can’t go wrong with a pizza either. A must even if just for a pre/post theatre drink. (See you again soon!)

The staff are lovely at Jackson’s cat rescue cafe. One staff member in particular (I didn’t catch her name) was so lovely. She took the time to stand and chat for a while to tell me and my daughter the names of the cats and all about their personalities and what they do there at the rescue. It was really nice to learn about all the cats. Coffee was great, cake was great and the cats were really sociable.

Went there after reading quite good reviews and was sorely disappointed. Staff could not be bothered, place looked tired. Went there to play games with my kids but consoles were either not working or generally broken. Staff were more involved in making their own dinner and talking between themselves. After 20 minutes, nobody even checked whether we wanted drinks or food. Absolutely dire, so we left and went to a place on Bold Street which was much more welcoming. If I were you take your money elsewhere rather than this place where staff just do not give a toss.

Had a wonderful meal as always at Ma Egertons last night, with my sister after seeing a show at the empire. The food and service was fantastic and all staff are so friendly and helpful. Just a lovely place to visit

Excellent cafe! I was so impressed with the staff, the welcome, the service. The cats are chilled and seem happy. I love that there are no kids around harassing the cats unlike other cafes. And the drinks are so cheap! Less than £7 for a coffee and 2 soft drinks. We didn’t eat so can’t rate the food

This was our first time visiting and it will certainly not be our last. On arrival we received a warm and friendly welcome and were shown to our table. The atmosphere of the pub was very warm and inviting and had a nice relaxed feel to it. The staff were friendly and attentive, but not in an overbearing way. Our food was exceptional. Everything was cooked to perfection and you could really tell that the freshest ingredients had been used. Our only issue was what to choose as everything sounded amazing!! It was a pleasure to eat here and we look forward to our next visit.

Been here many times now. Consistent quality of food and service. One critisism is the lighting, whilst ambient, is not helpful to those with poor eyesight or visual impairment. Saw several peopel using the torch on their phones included-to be able to read the menu.

It's probably best I don't say too much. My wife and I do date night once a month. I organised this was really looking forward to it and was massively disappointed. Probably the worst service I've experienced in Liverpoll ever. Sorry but just not good enough.
