Food was lovely, nice atmosphere and attentive staff.

We went here for my daughter’s bday. Wasn’t sure what to expect from the minute we walked in the staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you throughout the night. Have already recommended to friends and will definitely be returning

We ate at Ma Egertons last night prior to the theatre with two friend. We had pizzas and bowls of scouse between us. The sevice was exemplary and the food was delicious. But I own a sincere apology. We used the meerkats app to pay for our food. And the barmen informed me I should have mentioned this when making the booking. He did put it through on the meerkats deal even tho he said he would get told off by his boss. We much appreciated everything about our time there and next time we will definitely inform you if we are using the meerkats app. Merry Xmas to all at Ma Egertons.

Visited Sing Faye in Hunt’s Cross and was very impressed with decor,atmosphere and service.Staff were very welcoming.The food was outstanding, ordered a banquet but couldn’t finish it, portions were generous, however they boxed the mains for us to take home. Best prawn toast I have ever tasted. Drinks reasonably priced too.Will definitely be going back and would recommend a visit to this local restaurant.

Ate lunch at Ma Egertons yesterday. The food was lovely as always, as were the staff. Will be back again very soon. The Scouse here is just what you need after a Cold winters day shopping.

We had a great night in the party night :) We went for Greek Mezes and all the food was delicious !! We had great fun ! Would definitely book again ! Staff were pleasant and very helpful .

Had a gorgeous night at Harringtons with friends. Food was great. Plenty of choice and decent portion sizes. Good choice of wine and perfect cocktails Did I mention the singer ? Fab Great night. Highly recommend it

A large group of 25 and the service was fantastic . Such excellent value for money and despite size of group all our food arrived together , was hot and tasty ! Great value definitely be back !

Attended Houghwood with the family, with ages ranging from 14 to 78! We'd booked ahead and were met by very attentive and friendly staff who showed us to our table. We settled in and ordered a few drinks whilst reviewing the menu. Staff were very approachable and we were given such a lovely welcome. Starters we had included Prawn Cocktail, Melon and a Winter Veg Soup. All were very well presented and tasted delicious! The soup in particular was a real winner! All but one of us had the Christmas Dinner, with the Sea Bass being the other option chosen. The Christmas Dinner was simply devine! Beautifully seasoned and every element was cooked to perfection. The Turkey was succulent and there was plenty of it. The roast potatoes were crispy yet fluffy and the vegetables were cooked just right. The gravy was also exceptionally well seasoned! Various accompaniments were offered and the Cranberry Sauce was equally very nice indeed. The Sea Bass was also cooked to perfection and very well seasoned. Desserts followed. We chose the homemade Cheesecake (which was recommended by our wonderful waitress) and also the Christmas Pudding with Brandy Sauce. One of our group just wanted a small portion of Ice Cream (not on the menu) and they were more than happy to do that. Nothing was too much trouble. Drinks were topped up throughout and the surroundings were very festive. We all left fully satisfied with the food, service and settings - highly recommended. We've dined at Houghwood on several occasions and not been disappointed once. I expected a lot from their Christmas Menu and it certainly delivered. Beautiful.
