We traveled to Liverpool for the day to see the River of Light, there was no other place we would choose to eat. What’s cooking has amazing food- the spicy chicken papousa is my all time favourite mela and it certainly didn’t disappoint this time. The building is beautiful, the food amazing and there’s nowhere else I would choose to eat whilst visiting. I wish I lived local so I could visit more often.

Cannot fault anything. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and fabulous service. Warm Chicken salad and garlic bread with cheese was delicious

Slow service and some staff seemed very unsure. Had to ask 3 times for boiled rice which was not brought with order, meanwhile food going cold. Hot plates went cold while waiting for food so we had to get them changed. Nobody came to take orders for dessert and coffee, it was hard to attract waitresses' attention throughout the meal

The service was brilliant, the staff very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, cooked well and piping hot.

Best place in the Albert Dock for Food, staff friendly and couldn't do enough for you and will definitely be back. Give this place a try if you are visiting Liverpool

A really nice cosy restaurant with brilliant service and excellent food. First time I've been here and it won't be the last. We had the mixed starter and a portion of chilli chicken. The beef skewers are superb and the chicken satay did not disapoint either, the chicken wings were very tasty and spring rolls too. For main I had chilli pad thai with beef and it was one of the nicest meals I've ever eaten. This restaurant gets a 10/10 from me and il certainly be returning soon. Lovely, lively and friendly traditional pub with a great atmosphere. The food (pizza) was amazing, service was very quick and the the local Uke band were on at 8pm, practicing and socializing and entertaining us all so we sang along and enjoyed the diverse set of songs and got to play the mini tambourine, loved it!

So pleased we booked a table, we had already decided to try the scouse before our visit to the pub. We wasn’t disappointed it’s the best scouse all four of us had eaten out. Great atmosphere and food, drinks were reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go again

Great food an service excellent value for money

My first time at a Thai restaurant… the owner was amazing and helped me so much choosing my meal . The food was delicious and very well presented . Will definitely be going back again

Took my kid here for food (Thursday early afternoon) and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely ace, my lad was chuffed to bits to be playing the retro games and eating his dinner at the same time. The staff were lovely and I even managed to sneak a cocktail in for myself! Very good value, would defo visit again.
