I have been going off and on to the Ying Wah for as many years I can remember. It was always the place to go in Woolton. I went on Friday 13th with my wife and 4 friends, all of us enjoyed the starters and the main course with one exception, my wife ordered duck and chicken fried rice with peking sauce. It wasn’t up to standard, we know that duck can be a little fatty, but the duck in this dish was horrendous, it mainly consisted of lumps of fat and bone. We complained to the. Waitress and her reply was ‘ok’ and away she went never to be seen again. TheYing Wah of years ago would have either remade the dish with edible ingredients or taken it off the bill. They did neither. Every other dish we had was fine, just one dish, and the response, let you down.

Excellent service and quality of food was spectacular

Had another fanastic evening at Goya. The food is so delicious, well prepared and full of fresh ingredients that give it the unique flavour. The service was excellent as always, Goya is a perfect hostess. It's a small, intimate venue, perfect for dining as a couple or with friends. We have been here a number of times and every time is as good as the last. We need to try the Sunday tapas, have heard great things about them but not got there yet. Best food in the area!

Lovely restaurant . Although it was extremely busy we were not kept waiting.service was excellent and food was lovely.we will be back with rest of family. Also very good value for money.

What a lovely little find. Authentic but freshly modern Greek taverna. Food was amazing, portion sizes great and prices reasonable. We will definitely go back. Thank you

Beautiful meal as always

Just love this place ,we are becoming regulars .Always a lovely welcome from the Waitress .We love the atmosphere it's so relaxed and calm . Always spotless ,toilet included. The food is delicious with huge portions and reasonably priced . There is always tasty complimentary brownies .We can't wait to return.

Booked a table for tea before we went to empire for a show excellent welcome as always from bar staff we ordered a pizza to share with drinks service was second to none pizza was delicious such a lovely pub made to feel welcome definitely recommend to friends and family keep up the great work

Had a lovely meal here with friends. We went for two courses and all enjoyed our choices. Master McGraths is a pleasant space for eating and the staff were friendly and efficient.

First time here. It was lovely food. Good old fashioned grub. Very tasty indeed. Staff were very friendly and on the ball. Would very much recommend this place. I will be returning without a doubt. Sunday dinner next !

Fabulous food and great service

After recently returning from Thailand and hearing many rave reviews about Goya we finally gave this little gem a try. So glad that we did. One of the best Thai meals I have ever tasted. Absolutely delicious. Just packed with flavour. Great atmosphere, intimate surroundings, friendly staff and the most amazing food at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? Great place to meet up with friends, as we did, due to the cosy, intimate atmosphere where you can actually hear yourself think and hold a conversation without having to shout to be heard. Our very first visit. Certainly won't be our last. All party members extremely impressed with the dishes they chose. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to try the other delicious looking meals on offer.
