After a few friends visited and hyped up the place me and my missus decided to dine here and booked a table at the weekend. The decor is really nice but the food was unfortunately not to my taste and poor in comparison to some other Indian restaurants in town. The service was prompt but the waiters were not very knowledgeable about what food they were serving. Meal for two with drinks came to 72quid which in my case is pricy for an Indian.

we have been to Elif about 6 times now and it has never faied to impress,the food is cooked to perfection every time, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and it is not over priced. i would highly recommend giving it a try you will go back

Fuegos is a fabulous restaurant. My family and i visit often and it gets better every time!!! The food is fantastic and good value. The only problem is there is far too much to choose from! The service is great and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Arrived for dinner and had a lovely drink in the bar. Menus were given to us while we had our drinks which was a lovely touch. The waiting staff were perfect in that throughout our visit they anticipated our requirements. After sitting us down our beautiful starters of sea trout and another of gently spiced parsnip soup, our main courses also arrived on time and beautifully presented. Overall I can wholeheartedly recommend The Monro as real and welcome alternative to the other restaurants in the city.

Lovely place, nothing is too much for the lovely staff, we love going there and this is our fifth time at Savina. Lovely food I just love the Cancun.

Had a lovely meal, staff very attentive and couldn't have been more pleasant, but surfers always has fantastic, polite and friendly staff, never had to complain. always have a brilliant meal. thank you Loz

I am a south Indian craving for south Indian food and i am pleased to say whenever I feel the urge to taste a good south Indian curry I dash out to Maharajas. Excellent food and service.

This is the best meal we have ever eaten. We went on a Saturday night for our wedding anniversary with high expectations and were not disappointed. We opted for the Bespoke menu and everything that came from the kitchen ( and there were many, many courses) was an absolute delight. The service was friendly and incredibly efficient from knowledgeable staff and the atmosphere was relaxed. We are still talking about our fantastic evening and can't wait to go back. Can't recommend highly enough.

what can I say, fantastic absolutely loved it, just plain simple old fashion fantastic, people are really nice, the music is nice and the food is nice. defo coming here again.:-)

I booked a table for last saturday at 7.30 pm, as soon as i went in, i have seen a lot of confusion, then I waited at the door for 15 minutes before I sat down, (the managers and the receptionist were very unpleasant and nasty), the I waited for someone to get me a drink, , I waited for my starter a long time and I had my main course rushed out because they were late with the next booking. I don't recommend this place to nobody. They suppose to serve and greet people in Italian style, but the only Italian thing in there is the name. I have been to Italy a lot of times and the greeting and the service in Italy is top quality. Also to be an Italian restaurant, could be nice to see more Italian staff in there and to see the real Italian atmosphere . I would like to recommend the owner to change is management if he likes to go far.

Chipmunks is just how a chip shop should be. You have to queue but it's worth it, i'm addicted to their (not overly) battered fish chips & peas. If you can't wait until you get home to eat they've a seating area.

Myself and my wife visited this restaurant in the first week it opened over 30 years ago. We now live in Canada, but revisit every time we return to Liverpool. It hasn't changed much, even the menu seems the same, but it's bright and cheerful and the quality and pricing is good.

this is a great chinese and suits all ages. we have gone as a couple and as a family and the staff are wonderful. they are very good with kids and the elderly which is sadly lacking in a lot of restaurants particularly for a city that will be capital of culture next year 2008. We have also been here with alarge party and again teh food and service was very good. it is also very reasonable for the quality of the food. my only comment would be for the management to give it a little refurb and do something with upstairs especially the lighting as I think this would really add to the atmosphere. Bess
