Excellent food at such a reasonable price and excellent service x

Quite simply put, the best chinese restaurant i have ever eaten at in my entire life. The most delicious food. Great service. Very friendly staff, very attentive. Extremely well priced and fantastic value for money. A total credit to the Liverpool and surrounding community. I am very proud to call it 'my local' and definitely my favourite and has been for many years. My loyalty lies with Ying Wah. Many thanks to Simon and team.

I have been following the Jackson rescue and cafe for a few months which really made me want to visit. The cats were very entertaining with their own personalities, we ended up with around 4 cats that were interested in one of the toys. The atmosphere was great, the only disappointment was another visitor who kept following the cats around and disrupting our experience. The drinks were really nice, the cakes were a little dry but were still edible, we had 4 drinks and 2 cakes which were great value for money. The staff were great and lovely. We felt that 1 hour was not long enough but 3 hours was too long, we decided to stay for 2 hours after paying for 3. We decided that since the money was going to the cats and the charity it we didn't need to stay for the full amount of time. We hope to adopt a cat from Jacksons rescue in the future as we have seen that they are all well looked after.

Absolutely loved the food. Will be recommending to all our family and friends, can’t wait to go back

Lovely Anniversary Meal

3rd visit to the restaurant whilst visiting family. Yet again a lovely meal - staff are so attentive and helpful. Good knowledge of allergies and intolerances. Food is really tasty (Gambos Roberto’s is delicious!). My go to place when visiting Southport. Right opposite the premier inn hotel.

We visited Souvla for a family birthday meal. The food was amazing. We shared hummus and tzatziki with pitta bread for a starter and I can honestly say it was the best hummus I have ever tasted. I shared a meat platter with my husband for main and it was delicious. The coleslaw is very tasty too. Service was brilliant and we were given a chocolate brownie with whipped cream each on the house as it was a birthday celebration. I would definitely recommend and would go back again. Thank you.

We were a party of 4 on Sunday night so the restaurant was very quiet. All food was excellent and served with a nice gap between courses. Wines were also very good and a decent price. One of our main courses was delayed due to a kitchen error but when it was served the waiter Removed the charge for the delayed item without prompting — a very nice touch. Very definitely worth a visit and we will go again.

Fantastic staff, good food and great atmosphere. Was really made feel welcome. Can’t speak highly enough of the staff working in there Sunday night for our meal. I will be back next time I’m in Liverpool!

Lovely staff and bubbly atmosphere. Went there to celebrate my birthday with friends and family, everyone was commenting how amazing was for the price, the menu had lots of cold and hot starters and a mix of meats for main. Everything delicious!! We will come back soon

Visited Goya again on Saturday and introduced another two of my friends to the gorgeous food on offer. It’s safe to say they will be back. Food excellent as always. Thank you again ❤️❤️

Dined here on Saturday night. There were 4 of us and everything was perfect. Lovely welcome on arrival, restaurant lovely with a light, bright feel to it. The food was absolutely delicious and the service professional and friendly; couldn't fault it.

Some of the waitresses were very unpleasant apart from one an she was lovely Was my wife's birthday and not even reckonised even after putting it down on special requests. Lovely food but very disappointed with service Probably never go back again and were frequent customers over the years and will not recommend to friends.

A solid 5.5/10 for me, starters nice, my partner and son enjoyed their mains but not wowed, my pad thai literally tasted nothing like pad thai, major let down, no omelette, no lime or lemon, wrong noodles, small portion. Very expensive for what you get and the standard, but it was quite late, although that shouldn't make a difference. Probably won't go back, after years of wanting to go
