Was welcomed warmly on arrival, Then it was downhill from then on, 15 mins no drinks offered had to ask to for a server to come to table, Tried to order ribs they said run out ordered chilli con carne instead no taste no spice was bland tasted like mince and onions in a soggy taco bowl, hardly touched it. I was expecting so much more , Disappointed was an understatement, if you want a chilli buy a jar of uncle bens I wished I could say it was OK but it wasn't...

Early Mother's day lunch. Party of 10. We were welcomed at reception and our table was ready and waiting. W e had a small problem in that we had a miniature dachsund with us which we assumed would be ok, it was in the bar table buf not in thd back restaurant tables. However we assured the staff she would behave and we took our table accordingly! Food was enjoyed by all including the kids who were also able to burn off some energy in the play area!! Staff were pleasant and attentive . A thoroughly enjoyable experience for all! We will continue to visit regularly.

As always Papa Luigi never lets us down, friendly staff, wonderful food and a great atmosphere! If you haven't been you are missing out!

Food was lovely, only criticism I could give was that it felt like the service of the food was too fast, could do with a little bit of a longer wait between the starter and main. Great portion size, and they do small portions off the menu for children.

Good excellent, lots of choice, good selection of gluten free, love this place, staff are very good, great service, can’t fault this place, will be back in two weeks.

Wow! Staff are so lovely. Time at the bar before and after our meal and gave advice on drinks. More than happy to talk and explain making cocktails. Never had Monkey Brains after a meal but wow!!! I’ve never had a cocktail with egg white but Amaretto Sour is delicious! Thank you so much. Great food, service, atmosphere…… Perfect x

Absolutely amazing food! Went on a Saturday night for Mother’s Day, the food was immaculate. Especially the surf and turf, the steak was so so good. I would eat here again, many times over. The staff are so lovely and welcoming - this just makes the vibe of the restaurant even better. A meal for five of us, all had starters, all had mains and all had deserts, such an amazing price for the amount of food we got. I would eat here again.

What an absolute gem of a place. I recently visited Parbold and stumbled across the Windmill and so planned to take my wife there end of the week. We arrived early evening and have to say service, atmosphere and food was 5/5 and the price was most certainly value for money. My wife and I visit Southport a lot and stay in either the Bold Hotel o the Lord Street Hotel - both offer great service too. So it was a no surprise to note that the Windmill is part of the Mikhail Group - great service and atmosphere is standard. Oh and location, right on the canal bode well for a lovely walk towards a sunset. We will be back . . .

Very Disappointed. Waited quite a while for food. Salmon bagel- had to send mine back , salmon was stringy, some avocado black, limp lettuce. My friend had the same - her salmon was awful as well. When we complained- one salmon bagel was taken off the bill - should have been both. People we know sat behind us had been waiting 1hr - said food was cold when it eventually arrived but so hungry they ate it!! We expected more from the refurbishment- still dark, dingy - not impressed. Definitely won’t book again for lunch !!!

Only my second visit, taking friends for lunch of the back of excellent evening meal previously. Good move as my friends really enjoyed it, also good quality wines on offer. Now ,u##my favourite restaurant in Saddleworth and will definitely be going again.

We had a fantastic time at Panama Hattys and were disappointed we hadn't visited before. Everything about our evening was great, our waiter Carl and his colleagues made a huge fuss of our children, service was prompt without feeling like we were being rushed and the food and drinks were excellent. The midweek deals were great value for a Friday night and we loved the cocktails and set menu. Affordability was great, a really excellent experience all round.

The starters and main course were average. However, the Cheese Platter offered on the Dessert Menu was very poor. We were told as there were no grapes or celery available, slices of a strawberry was the substitute! The crackers were very ordinary and the cheeses were morsels rather than portions! It is perhaps as well, that we do not have butter with our cheese and crackers, as the individually wrapped pats, accompanying the cheese were frozen!

Lovely food, nice atmosphere, and excellent service - the lady who looked after us, Arri, couldn’t have been more attentive. We’ll definitely be back!
