The Windmill Parbold – WiganGreat food, lovely decor, excellent service
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamFantastic food not just for adults, the children in our party loved their food as well
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamI booked for lunch with my friend. I realise it's school holidays and the sun was out so the garden area was busy but I side wasn't too bad. The waiting staff were polite and friendly but the service was slow, very slow. It took ages for our meals to be ordered and even longer for them to arrive. I ordered a prawn salad with a mango dressing, sounded lovely. In fact it was bland. There was no mango dressing just a little mayonnaise coating the prawns. The leaves had no dressing at all. The brown bread it was supposed to have was two half slices of white bread that looked like it was Warburton's Toastie. I tried to catch a waitress to ask if something was missing but there was no sign of one and being hungry I just ate it. In contrast my friend's meal was delicious. Half way through our meal drinks arrived that we had already had three quarters of an hour before. Perhaps it was just a bad day ?
The Rising Moon – HydeAte on a Friday evening with my daughter. The food was ok. Ordered steak, medium rare. It was quite tough to the point I had to turn my torch on my phone (dark lighting where I was sat) to see if it was cooked as I'd asked. No steak knife was provided which might have made a difference, but shouldn't have needed one for a fillet. Incredibly salty. The service wasn't great, at no point did anybody ask if we needed more drinks and I feel because we were sat in between two "Kobe Asia" tables, we were almost an afterthought.
Sorella Restaurant – OldhamVisit with family for a birthday celebration. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly. Nice relaxed atmosphere and well set out areas for dining. We ordered a variety of meals and everyone was enjoyed. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichI went with 2 girlfriends. Food was lovely fresh and tasty. It was busy for a Wednesday night but the waiters were very attentive and didn't push you when we could not decide on puddings. I had a Turkish delight Martini I would highly recommend it. It was a very enjoyable night
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichHad a lovely lunch yesterday. Sat outside in the sun. We both had fish, chips and peas. Beautiful fish, it was hugh. Everything was perfect. Service, food and drinks. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definately be dining there again.
The Windmill Parbold – WiganLos Sentidos Loca is very frequently visited by myself and my partner. The food is amazing and the staff are all brilliant! Cannot recommend this restaurant enough.
La Sentidos Loca – WiganIt was our first visit to the restaurant, the setting and ambience was very good, service was excellent, food delicious, being from the south of England the price was really reasonable, I have paid more for far inferior meals. When I return to Manchester, we will be returning.
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichThis is a great restaurant although it is a little hidden away . Decor is very nice, modern and colourful. The menu is extensive with lots of unusual items and quite reasonably priced. We opted for the monkfish starter followed by chicken bhuna rogan josh and chicken desi handi with sides of pillau rice and naan bread. Food was delicious and portions very good, served nice and hot. Service from all the staff was excellent. Will definitely return.
Arnero – Manchester City CentreThis is one of my favourite restaurants! I love everything about this restaurant, the decor is classy , staff are so friendly and attentive . You can tell it’s a family run businesses the care and attention they put into dealing with customers is amazing. The food is outstanding, really good quality and great menu. The lamb fillet is my favourite ❤️ 10/10 for me , just wished I lived closer!
Anatolian Grill – PrestwichIt would have been good if our coats had been hung up for us. However, the service was good. The food was tasty but my portion of lobster ravioli was small.
L’Aquila Prestwich – PrestwichThis place is outstanding, fantastic staff, food, drinks and atmosphere. I’m quite a fussy eater and being coeliac they accommodate me extremely well and don’t refuse my changes on menu choice. Would highly recommend
La Sentidos Loca – WiganExcellent service and good Sunday roasts. My daughter was disappointed there was no stuffing or whole carrots but the chicken was succulent & the roast potatoes nice & crispy. Slightly annoying that the prices on the website are lower than on the menu so that needs updating.
Fat Loaf – SaleVisited a few times now and whilst the food is lovely (roast dinner usually) the service is typically quite slow and not very attentive. I find you have to spend quite a bit of time to get somebody’s attention. It wouldn’t put us off visiting again however hopefully this is constructive feedback. A couple of member of staff who we see regularly are lovely and attentive but it does feel as if not all are trained to the same standard.
The Windmill Parbold – WiganNicest Sunday dinner I have had in ages , will highly recommend to all my friends and family
The Windmill Parbold – WiganEnjoyed a meal on a Sunday. I had a Sunday Roast (pork), excellent meal, only complaint ( and this is totally personal), is that the gravy is put on your meal before you receive it. I dislike a lot of gravy and there was far too much for me. PLEASE Windmill put the gravy in a container!. My husband had a sizzling plate and couldn't praise it enough. Definitely go back though.
