A gem that should be much more popular than it is. Great menu and great food.

Booked to attend a concert at the Bridgewater Hall and booked a table for the pre-theatre menu in sufficient time at 6.00 pm anticipating a relaxed pre-theatre dinner.Having eventually being allocated a table a drinks and meal order was taken, along with the two tables alongside ours seated at the same time and who also had reservations. A couple arriving after us - without a reservation - were also allocated a table shortly afterwards and received their food before ourselves! Of the three reserved tables delivery of starters and main courses was haphazard to say the least. Our main courses arrived and, given the timing, which we had to eat more quickly than was healthily comfortable. But that was not the end of the stress . . . It appeared that the whole restaurant was due to attend the concert resulting in a queue to pay snaking around the whole restaurant. Stress levels were high and being one of the last to leave, had to rush to just make the start of the concert. While the food was largely acceptable - the pizzas and spaghetti were good, the starters average - the staff were outstanding given the difficult circumstances under which they were forced to work under a very demanding and inefficient manager - despite his 27 years in the job as he kept telling leaving diners! We will not be returning . . .

What a wonderful place. It is our regular Saturday morning haunt. 3 of us went Friday evening for pie night. It is not the place to go if you are in a rush. Not fast food but beautifully cooked home made food and definitely worth the wait.

first time visitor in all the years in Prestwich. We will be back. I think that says it all. Tables were not shoved next to each other which means you had room to move and you could hear the other people at your table without shouting. The food was plentiful and very reasonable in cost. Parking was easy on Bury New Road but if that is not an option there is plenty of parking very close by. The staff were very attentive and very pleasant. definitely deserves a return visit

Visited on 26th July for my daughters 19th birthday meal. As always, great food, great service and a good atmosphere. I should have made sure to get our waitresses name, as she was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. Recommended.

Lovely restaurant with amazing staff, food was great & nice atmosphere.

We’d heard great things about The Drop and my partner loves Caribbean food so I booked this as a surprise for his birthday. He was delighted and so was I. The food was the best Caribbean food we’ve ever had, the staff were brilliant (even via email when I changed my booking). The atmosphere is authentic, cosy and upbeat - couldn’t ask for more. Cant wait to come back :)

We had a lovely evening with my friend! Food is excellent! Very quick service and high quality. I just have to admit that it was loud in the room. Maybe it because it was a Friday night. Anyway it’s “Crowded House”. I was there many times since 2018 and it’s always excellent. Thank you for your great service!

Excellent food and service!

It was our first time visiting Alanya and it definitely won’t be our last. The staff were really friendly, super attentive and kind. The chef came out to greet all his guests and made time to speak to them individually which was a lovely touch. The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. A really wonderful experience and would highly recommend.

Superb as always! Must have visited La Sentidos on over 20 occasions. Standard of food is always consistent and excellent. Brilliant choice of food and very popular. Never an empty table within sight. Popular with large groups. Would recommend you book to avoid disappointment.
