We booked for Valentine’s Day 2023 for the pre theatre menu, I was a little worried we would be rushed due to it being Vday but I didn’t have to worry. The service was impeccable and we had plenty of time to really enjoy our meal. The food, wow, so delicious and the pre theatre menu is definitely great value for money. Great portions and great choice. We will definitely be back again, I can’t recommend this restaurant enough. The staff are wonderful, really attentive and have great personalities. 10/10.

Booked for a Valentine's meal. We were gifted a long stem red rose as we were seated. The staff at the Rising Moon are amazing !!! Friendly & super helpful. The food is awesome - every mouthful delicious !!! You really don't want the meal to end !!! There was a guy playing back ground music on the guitar - created a lovely atmosphere Perfect ❤️

Always amazing

Had a lovely meal for both my daughter's birthday and valentine's. We had lasagne, pizza and salmon. All very enjoyable. The menu we were given was restricted compared to what we had looked at online. Disappointed to then see other diners with a more extensive menu later when we were told that the menu we had was the only one available.

Everything was at a good level. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal and night.

It’s rare that you find somewhere that not only has stunning food but the loveliest staff and great interior! It was obvious they were busy but they handled it like pros and the food was so nice. I can’t wait to come back and if I could give you more than 5 stars I honestly would!

Absolutely gorgeous food and great portion sizes. The services from all the staff is brilliant and the cocktails are really good. My favourite Indian restaurant.

Lovely pub and I can honestly say we haven’t had a bad meal there. I had the lamb Henry last night and it was absolutely delicious with plenty of veg and mash to soak up the lovely mint gravy. The only thing I could fault is that there is nowhere to go and sit to just have a drink unless it is summer and you can sit outside . Such a lovely pub it would be nice to just go for a few drinks if you don’t fancy a meal. Saying that most pubs seem to be going the same route which you can’t blame them for really…

Always the best food and staff are friendly , we’re always made to feel very welcome. Also have a really good selection of wines ( most not on the menus so make sure to ask)

Not a great meal to be honest. Ordered gluten free carbonara and a normal spaghetti bolognese - simple meals. The 'bacon' in the carbonera was dry, tough, chewy and had a horrible aftertaste - really not good! It really was such a simpe meal - i don't know how they got it so wrong! I ordered a glass of white wine with my meal, which arrived warm - not remotely chilled never mind cold. The quality of the wine served was so poor it needed to be served COLD to make it at least palatable - not great at £12 a glass ! My daughter could not drink her vodka and coke - said it tasted 'strange'. Had to remind the waiters twice that we had asked for some water for the table before it arrived. All in all, we left 'fed' but not happy. Not a great experience for such a simple costing £50 - felt completely ripped off!

Food and drink OK. Prices exorbitant. Is this the way of the world?

Came here just before a theatre trip to take advantage of the theatre menu which was I believe around £22.50. Firstly I felt very rushed as was asked what my drink order was as soon as I was took to my seat. I ordered a mini bottle of Prosecco, the tiny bottles. Then I ordered the pate and chutney, came with toasted but cold bread, poor excuse of side salad, loads of pate which was nice and no chutney so I had to ask for this. Then I ordered the lasagne which was lovely, and a side portion of fries which was £4.75 and was about 20 fries. Bill came to £43 which I think I was overcharged for the mini bottle of Prosecco as it was one glass.
