Had a lovely meal here, cheerful, friendly staff. Served very quickly and very hot (the only way to serve hot food). Only downside for me were the drinks which were a bit pricey, even for the centre of Manchester.

I came here for lunch with a friend after hearing positive reviews. We had a lovely meal. I am coeliac and the menu was labelled clearly with gf options which was great to see. We shared starters of garlic mushrooms, king prawns and chorizo alongside the halloumi salad and sweet potato fries. There was a lot of food. Everything was a good portion size. All dishes were lovely. Service was excellent. We then went and had a few drinks in the beer garden which had great views. There is a hut to buy food from there too. We will definitely be back.

Never had an issue until now. Service was very slow and the food was not up to the usual standard. The bar girl was quite rude. Overall not the best experience we have had. The fish was way over cooked and the chips were still hard.

Wonderful restaurant, great service, fantastic atmosphere. My first time but won't be my last. We had the pre theatre menu which was £22.50 for two courses (starter and main). everything was delicious and the wine menu was also extensive.

Once again very nice meal at the anatolian .very well presented as usual .well done kitchen staff. Service what more can you say first class .and prices compared to some restaurants is very good .which is why its so popular .they don't overcharge ..so keep up good work guys girls .g moore.and hubby

Excellent food and (somehow) even better service! We had vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters at our table, and all had a wonderful meal! The waiters also made brilliant recommendations!

Only the best food is served here. I guarantee whether you’re a meat eater or vegan you will place the quality of this restaurant above all other cuisine you’re familiar with. The service was lovely and considerate, they are clearly well trained and will do whatever is required to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Whether for beer or for dinner, come here for an evening and tell me I’m wrong afterwards.

Whole evening was amazing. Service was brilliant, sangria so tasty, food was delicious and portions were very generous. Will definitely go again! Thank you for such a lovely night

Food was excellent and reasonably priced too. Four of us had different courses and all were very good and of a decent size. The scallops I had very delicious. Only downside was the service, not particularly friendly and no real interaction even though we dined early, 5:15pm booking on a Saturday. Felt that that effected the general atmosphere. Would go back again but hope for a more engaged service.

We really enjoyed our first dining experience at Chakalaka. The cocktails were really good and food even better!

Very enjoyable food and experience.I do not generally enjoy dining alone in the UK as I am normaly made to feel I am taking up space they could earn more from.The staff here made me feel welcome and were very attentive.

Wonderful meal, wonderful service. Will definitely return.

Wedding anniversary meal, started with an intention to only order a bit of food but the menu changed our minds!!! Scallops for me and pear/ chiccory walnut salad for the wife then a stunning steak and a perfect hake…..not forgetting the cheesecakes to die for!! We can’t wait to come back……superb. Staff are amazing too……cheers for a top night
