I visited the restaurant with 3 relations last Friday. The food was excellent and the service first class. We were made to feel at home and we look forward to another visit in the future.

Shahenshah Restaurant – RusholmeI went here on Saturday for lunch, was told by a friend to try it and that I would be pleasantly surprised. she was correct what a lovely place. I had the duck salad for my main, the meat was very tender and the salad really really fresh. for dessert I had the chocolate brownie & Toblerone Fondant Sundae, Very sickly but soo good, all accompanied by a nice bottle of wine. Perfect if your in manchester its definitely worth a visit, you wont be disappointed. Thanks
Mud Crab at Grinch – Manchester City CentreJust outside the city centre in the Northern Quarter, this venue ticks all the boxes. Relaxed chilled out atmosphere, homemade delicious Vegan food, great range of drinks & smoothies, very reasonably priced. Just make sure you leave some room for the desserts!
Earth Cafe – Northern Quarterdined @ zaika on Friday night with two friends, thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The tasting/banquet menu was flavoursome & plentiful. I had the fish tikka to start, followed by Bengali prawns... Service was relaxed but efficient unlike Akbars, toilets were spotless. Will defo return & will defo recommend
Zaika – Manchester City CentreI went to Orange Tree Tapas for lunch on Saturday, I booked for 10 of us and we were made very welcome. The food was all freshly cooked and very tasty. The service from Claire was great. Lots of dishes to choose from at a very reasonable price. The house wines were also good, They have a nice lunchtime menu and some tapas specials on Tuesday and Wednesday tea time. I will be going back very soon.
The Orange Tree Tapas – AudenshawDined once again at the Punjab Saturday night and once this quaint little place provided us with fabulous fare, easily the best in Rusholme.
Punjab Tandoori – Rusholme5 STARS. What a fabulous place for a 21st celebration. The food and service was outstanding. The staff pulled out all the stops to make the occasion very memorable. Highly Recommend as a must visit. Thank you - MINT :-) WE'LL BE BACK.
The Orange Tree Tapas – AudenshawFabulous! So much food! Excellent value! Service First Class! Lovely surroundings. Thank you - we had a wonderful time at your restaurant and our friends enjoyed their meal so much they booked again whilst at the restaurant! A special thankyou to Nisar who is so eager to please his customers. Regards and good luck to all at Zaika.
Zaika – Manchester City Centrei love barburrito food. but their staff is lazy, not friendly, swears to each other front of customers, not professional, no respect to each other, especially deansgate branch.
Barburrito – Manchester City Centre3rd time been food very average, overpriced, need to serve the food hot, had to send soup back, also had steak on hot plate what was cold as well, wont be going 4th time.
Retreat – BoltonLiterally the BEST Indian food I have ever eaten. Everything is made fresh and the chef comes to your table and asks about your preferences so he can cater the dish to your liking. Fantastic!
Zumar – SaleWe have enjoyed our lunch in Albert's Shed last Sunday. Great menu and good price. Although the blonde lady in bright floral top was not so welcoming as expected. Overall, the service from our lovely waitress was great.
Alberts Shed – Manchester City Centrei went to the Orange Tree with family the food was great and the staff was very welcoming you have to try it.
The Orange Tree Tapas – AudenshawI'm afraid we seem to have had a very different experience to other recommenders on this list. Went on a Saturday night - the place half empty - and had what I can only describe as one of the most repulsive meals I have ever eaten. Anywhere. Period. The 'chicken satay' was (not joking) turkey with gravy. No sight of a peanut anywhere. Or a chicken. All the food was incredibly, almost comically salty. Vegetables tasted mildewed. Prawn toast was hard and chewy. It all tasted like it had been sitting around for several days and re-heated in the microwave. The only bearable thing we had was the crispy seaweed. Service was very friendly but not enough to salvage the experience - especially at £16 a head for starter and main. Sorry, but we won't be coming back.
New Emperor – Manchester City CentreWe have been to The Orange Tree twice now and both times we found the restaurant, staff and food exceptional..... the staff are welcoming and the food is of a high standard.... the prices are reasonable and its also child friendly which is an advantage when you have a toddler to cater for. We will definitely be recommending The Orange Tree and will be going back in the near future! We look forward to more great Tapas!!!!!
The Orange Tree Tapas – AudenshawTook my partner for a meal the food was great and the service was really good I will be going back next week as the staff made me feel at ease as i didn't know what to order or how much they went through the menu with us and it was a great choice of food i would just like to say thank you for a fantastic night.
The Orange Tree Tapas – AudenshawVisited the tapas about a week ago the food is amazing from different chicken dishes to steak dishes there is lots to choose from. Also for children there is a good menu. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. i will be going back for sure.
