Don't go here! I used to eat here then I read in the local paper they'd been fined a lot of money by Environmental Health because it's so filthy. Yuk!

Cha Cha’s – LevenshulmeA wonderful relaxing experience! A refreshingly child-friendly restaurant set in beautiful surrounding. The food is the best italian we have ever tasted and the staff are very friendly[nothing was too much trouble]. Would recommend La Roma too everyone.
La Roma Restaurant – BoltonA lovely intimate little restaurant with quiet atmosphere. Slightly tacky and dated interior but this is far outweighed by the beautiful food. Aromatic kebabs on light-as-a-feather Basmati rice, stuffed peppers, meatballs in fragrant sauce. Delicious and authentically Persian. Very similar to the other splendid Persian eatery of South Manchester (The Persia Grill House of Chorlton) but slightly better menu. And the bastani Persian ice-cream - amazing! And a glass of Persian tea to finish. A lovely venue for a quiet meal with someone special.
Shiraz Restaurant – NorthendenHaving not been to the Windmill in years and hearing lots of good things about it of late I decided, on the spur of the moment, to check it out. So on Saturday, 5pm off I went and I took my 11 year old daughter with me. All I can say is that it was fantastic value for money. My daughter had a slice each of beef, turkey and gammon and I had beef and gammon. The meat melted in the mouth and was extremely tasty, we piled up our plate with peas, green beans, carrots, cauliflower cheese and boiled and roasted potatoes, smothered with lovely rich gravy. I was extremely impressed. Things to note. Pay for your meal at the bar and get a ticket to hand to the carvery staff, time it right - had we got there 30 mins later we would have had a bit of a wait. Overall we had a great experience and will be repeating it soon.
Windmill – AudenshawAbsolutely delicious food, so different from the usual 'curry house' fayre. Lovely friendly service. If you visit this place once you'll be hooked, and dying to tell all your friends to go there too. Really excellent.
Sanmini’s – RamsbottomMy local Indian, always of high standard. We would go here in preference to other Indian restaurants anyway,
Sagor Tandoori – OldhamReally enjoyed my meal here - the staff are very professional but very formal. Food standard is fab, almost equal to the Peacock Room in Bamford but Nutters wine list is better
nawaab is gr8 but can't understand why they are charging £6 for over 3's, it should be under 5's free as my daughter is 3 and just runs around whilst there, maybe just having about 2-3 chips, not really worth paying £6 for. Appalling!!!
Royal Nawaab – LevenshulmeGreat offer - 2 for £22 will keep me coming back - 3 courses and a drink for 2 for only £22 + its not out of a microwave!!! really good fresh food - can't do better for the price. Great views over the lake especially on a sunny day. Would highly recommend
The Boathouse Restaurant – SaleHave been to the Indian ocean many times over many years and have recently just been again. The food as always was good, however i do feel that as it's popularity has increased and word of mouth spread, the standard of its service, has decreased, although it was originally a high standard. The last 2 times i have been i have enjoyed the food but been left disappointed by the service. I would still recommend it, as it is still one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.
Indian Ocean – Ashton Under LyneSAT 28/03/2009 16.00 me & my wife decided on the last minute to attend and arrived without a reservation, the staff were very accommodating and the service was first class plus the menu concept and pricing of £7.95 buffet was excellent quality
La Salsa – Horwichi have eaten at many places around the north west but i have never tasted the finest home made food like here at Rajahs in bury on bolton road. Its out of this world and the staff are great especially mr.Imran who welcomes the customer with great respect and i was made to feel at home. Also you can view the chef making your food in front of your eyes. While you have a free cup of coffee!I would never go anywhere else than Rajahs of bury. Weldon mr.Imran and the staff at the Rajahs of Bury! Your JUST GREAT!
Rajah Tandoori – BuryFantastic fresh fish, fabulous friendly facility for feasting OMG - I love food - but this brought my love to another dimension - wow wow wow - I gasped as I was served one of the restaurants spectacular sashimi boats! There are so many different types of fresh fish available in the restaurant including Clam, squid, octopus, Salmon, Sea Bass, Tuna, Prawns and Sea Urchine. The fish is served on a bed of ice cold stripped veg - perfect - I think this represents the flow from ocean to plate (not sure just what i imagined as I slowly enjoyed each mouthful) Infact I enjoyed the service and the food so much I visited twice on the same day as I couldn't resist indulging in a second sashimi boat and the fantastic hospitality For dessert it was a splendid ice cream dish which was served with a glamorous array of chocolate sprinklings, sauce and a crispy chocolate coated waffle I live in Aberdeen Scotland yet wouldn't hesitate on returning to this restaurant again! Believe it or not would actually make the journey South just to appreciate this experience once more Big Thumbs Up!!!! David
Tokyo Season – Manchester City CentreI have been meaning to recommend this restaurant for some time now. What a fantastic menu and high quality of food. Further, the waiters and chefs are only too happy to make bespoke dishes to suit all taste so if its not on the menu don't be afraid to ask! Some personal recommendations include the Chom Chom, the Balti tikka masale, the Nagpuri, the Granny Style Madras and the paneer rockets to name just a few. Even better, not only is the service friendly and food fantastic, after your meal you are greeted with orange slices, after eights, a Baileys and and After Eight! I've been to all the recommended Indian restaurants in Manchester (Gurkha Grill, Shimla Pinks, Akbars, EastzEast, etc) and I have to say this place stands head and shoulders above the rest - worth a visit!
Asian Fusion – ChorltonA great Meal, certainly not chips with everything, a wide choice of carvery and salad bar as well. something for everyone at reasonable prices
The Grapes Pub – OldhamWe had not been in the Wilton Arms for years as we considered it to be 'Pub food' in the worse sense. We recently noticed a sign outside that says 'under new management and home cooked food', so we gave it a try. What an improvement! the food is really good and as it says 'home cooked. Some of the dishes are equal to that in a restaurant and therefore, excellent value for money. There is also a good selection of wine & beers to choose from and the decor & the atmosphere are really nice.
Wilton Arms – BoltonFantastic meal, great service from the minute our car was parked for us to when it was returned at the end of the night. Staff very knowledgeable regarding food and preferences, managing to cater for two pregnant diners and two hungry men. Food very tasty, reasonably priced and attention to detail was great. Hope to see one in my local town very soon. This will be a great venue in summer months but even now with rain battering the windows it was second to none. Loved the decor, loved the atmosphere and loved the food.
