Lal Qila – Rusholmewe are regulars here and recently had two family birthday celebrations here...both times the food was excellent and all cooked fresh to order… We would never entertain going anywhere else for tapas...the last time we went our wine was corked and when brought to the manageress’s attention it was change in a instant like all good restaurants should do!! lovely staff and great atmosphere when ever we go… thank you!!!
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreService could do with more "presence". but food was excellent and certainly a true taste of Spain - authentic tapas.
Viva Espana – HorwichWe celebrated my husbands birthday with a family meal for 20 on Saturday 4 August. We all had a marvellous evening with splendid food and very professional service. This was a pre-planned event and the staff could not do enough to help with food choices, table plans and decorations. The ambience was buzzy and lively. We were accommodated in the main dining room for the meal and were invited to use the smaller private room for champagne and birthday presentation at the end of the evening. What a night to remember!
Stock Restaurant – Manchester City CentreWhat a delightful meal it was, definitely a return visit!
Great Kathmandu – Didsburyi first visited la salas when it opened towards the end of 2006. we visited for a freinds 30th Birthday party and i was very impressed. the food was a lot better than la tasca and the portions were good value for money. i have been about 7 times since with groups of friends and with my partner and everyone has enjoyed it. they have now got a licence to sell alcohol so you can no longer take your own drinks. drinks prices are about the same as other restaurants. check before going as last time i visited they still didnt accept card payments. (cash only).
La Salsa – HorwichExcellent food and fresher than most other buffet restaurants good for families Self service (if they run of any items they replace or replenish quickly)
Chopsticks – Swintonlove there peri peri chicken...
Nando’s – Trafford CentreFANTASTIC - never been to a tapas restaurant before and I'll struggle to go anywhere again for the fear of not finding as good a restaurant. I'll certainly be going there again - well worth the table wait and a brilliant first experience!
El Rincon de Rafa – Manchester City CentreExcellent Oriental food, always feels a bit disorganised service wise, but don't let that stop you giving it a go! Hidden away on the busy Middlebrook Retail Park.
Abacus Restaurant – HorwichFab Food!! Excellent service and the cocktails are to die for!!!
Gusto – DidsburyEst Est Est is Best Best Best. Me and my partner love coming here and recommend it to friends and family all the time!!!
Gusto – DidsburyAs with the other reviews, i can only praise Mughli. I have been a customer for a number of years and have never had a bad meal there, i also order take-aways, which are fantastic also. I don't really want to try the rest because i think i've got the best here! Long may they continue, i'm getting hungry now!
Mughli Restaurant – RusholmeGreat food - lovely people. Highly recommended.
Heylam – SaleHaving visited on a couple of previous occasions and been impressed, I recently organised a party at Isinglass. It was for a special occasion, at very short notice and for a party of 22. The food was fabulous and even though the main meals were brought out in sets of 6 we were all eating at the same time. The other tables were all full and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. The Northern Charcuterie and Cornfed Chicken were favourites amongst our group. The Sticky Toffee Pudding is divine! For a small restaurant I felt they dealt with a large group effectively. I think this is a venue worthy of an intimate meal for 2 or for a party. It is not a cheap night out but if you enjoy good food and wine in a relaxed atmosphere, and don't mind paying for it then give it a try.
Isinglass – UrmstonThis has to be the best restaurant in the area. It never fails to delight and I have been dining there for the past 10 years. The quality of food and service never wavers, no matter how busy they are (and that tends to be most evenings).
Smiths Restaurant – EcclesAte at Room recently on a wednesday night. Took advantage of their Magnificent 7 offer -all main courses for £7.00. Very impressed with setting, service and quality of the food. Liked the modern twist on retro dishes. We both had fish for mains and it was fresh and very well cooked. They have a standard service charge which I think makes the service excellent as all of the staff are very attentive. Thoroughly recommend - would return and pay full price!
Grand Pacific restaurant and bar – Manchester City CentreI am a regular diner and drinker at the bar at this particular tgi fridays and i just want to take my hat off to Barney the Barman. His service is always outstanding and he looks after us very well consistently keeping us entertained with his good sense of humour and jokes and tricks.
