The good; The standard of cooking is very high. Juicy seared Scallops to start, fantastically tender. Mains of (two) turbot fillets and a large tail of monkfish were again cooked and sauced to perfection. Sides of nicely caramelised french beans and chunky chips , great! Wine a very nice bottle of Rioja @ £15. Not so good; Service was a bit patchy,could really do with getting this up to the same standard as the cooking. The place was busy with three in the kitchen and two out front, so perhaps this was the problem. Whatever, definitely check this place out, it is straight in to my top five restaurants in Mcr. Book if going at the weekend.

A good little restaurant offering excellent food in a relaxed atmosphere. The tables are well sized and spaced. The staff are friendly and efficient. A local gem.

I enjoy nando's food ,but this restaurant is not a good choice. its very small so you will wait for a long time for a table , and the wait to take out is even longer! u could find your self waiting for more than an hour and theres normally a family of ten hogging the sofas so ull have to stand up!

Excellent. Went there for my birthday with 20 friends, the food was superb, service excellent and very inexpensive.

Retaurant has an excellent-value lunchtime menu, and setting is pleasant. However, the staff could make more of an effort in my opinion.

I found the Restaurant to be very nice with a warm and WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE. I woud recommend it to everyone!

this restaurant is great i went with my girlfreind the other week an we got abslutley stuffed on the finest thai food i have eaten all for a outstanding price talk about value for money its like buyin armani for the price of tescos

A lovely place to eat, the food is gorgeous and the atmosphere is very relaxing, the staff are nice and helpful. It is my favourite restaurant.

We couldn't face cooking Christmas dinner for ten so someone suggested the Ox. It was a fantastic idea. The food was delicious and great value. It took all the stress out of Christmas day and we didn't miss the washing up or the turkey sandwiches one little bit.

EXCELLANT AND REASONABLE

Food was good, well cooked and promptly served. Portions were very small considering the cost. Price of drinks was prohibitive, and will prevent further visits from us. (eg: glass of white winne and a mineral water............ £5.15p

I visited this Restaurant for the first time two weeks ago and was very impressed. The food was fantastic, the staff friendly and eager to please, with a really good atmosphere. We had booked a table for 7.00 pm and by even then it was very busy. By 8.00 pm it was almost full. Prices are a bit steep but worth every penny and we will definitely go back when we return to Manchester later in the year. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone - its first class. Book early though to avoid disappointment.

The quality and quantity of the food was absolutely fantastic. Atmosphere and decoration not really authentic. Their wine it was amazing and an overall a fab experience. Highly recommended!!!

Excellent range of curries including ones I have never heard of before, excellent portion sizes guareented to fill even the largest of bellies! Fantastic food, service and prices, who could complain when you recieve free wine and bottles of beer even with a take away!!

the best in the world. pricey but well worh it. people come from far and wide to eat here. And i am so lucky, its my local. For any curry eater, its a must.
