Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaVery disappointed in the new menu. This was our fifth visit but sadly will be the last. We ordered off the mains menu and expected a main dinner! But no, it was more like tapas, exceptionally small plate and very expensive as we had to order sides to bulk it out. I ordered fish cakes and for the price I expected a main meal. I received three minuscule fish cakes and had to then order chips and salad. My fellow diners all ordered fish dishes and they were more of a starter size. The waitress didn’t explain the situation either and we were all very disappointed.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaI had my first oysters in my life in this restaurant and they're were amazing. We ordered them off the specials' menu and the sauce it came with was incredibly flavourful. My partner said if I wanted to try oysters this is the place for it and ha was right. For main I ordered monkfish medallions with lobster sauce again off the specials' menu. Best lobster sauce I've ever tried. Not too heavy, not too thick just simply perfect and the monkfish was the same quality. Perfectly cooked not over or under cooked. My partner had a steak which was flavoursome cooked just like he asked and kept it's warm temperature through the meal which is not common. We had puddig also, delicious nicly presented desserts they were both. Huge reccomendation for this place!!!!!! And Thanks for the chefs and the girls who were serving us during the night for making our first year anniversary with my partner so good with the meals and their service.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaOur favourite restaurant in Sussex!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a gem of a place we have in Shoreham! Another fabulous evening at Into the Blue last weekend; fantastic food and a friendly, relaxed bistro feel as always. Really enjoyed sampling some of Dave's dishes from the taster menu. Can't wait for the next visit!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe love this restaurant and have been going for many years.I had the most amazing fillet steak perfectly cooked no nasty bits in it and sheer perfection. The sweet with the White Chocolate pannacotta and raspberry sorbet was heavenly. The staff are always friendly and delightful.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaI am a returning diner, and just had an extremely pleasant lunch (July 2022). The staff are always very friendly and they helped us navigate the new (to us) menu format. It's very good, with a wide food selection, and we chose well. The meal, as ever, was wonderful. On top of that, ITB has a pleasant, unhurried, atmosphere. It's why we come back..!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had a fantastic meal for 6 to celebrate my birthday. As always the seafood was superb - oysters, crispy squid, tempura prawns and mackerel. I loved the zesty Mexican prawn cocktail and the scallops were perfection. The wine selection is excellent and very reasonable. We had a delicious bottle of Poynings Grange Bacchus. The restaurant was full and service was excellent. Highly recommended.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaExcellent relaxed meal. Friendly efficient service accompanying great food. Recommended!
The Carriage – CrawleyDelicious food! Loved it.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe took my cousin and his wife for dinner this week. We love Into the Blue and have been going there for years, but this was the most disappointing meal we've had there. The fish and chips was dry and tired. Our prawn dish ( Malasian?) tasted of chilli and nothing else, and noodles & veg average. The 4th guest had a delicious Dover Sole and she was very happy, but the prices have gone up a lot, meaning we can't eat there very often. We used to get a loyalty discount but that's gone too.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had the sharing menu for 2 - wonderful food and good value. I love having a taste of everything so it suited me. Loved the mackerel paté and the scallops.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-Seait has always been good over the many years I have visited , but the new tapas style menue has made it even better !. Fabulous food and excellent service.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAbsolutely delicious tasting menu shared between my partner and I. Fabulous local wine too and friendly service. What a wonderful little find this place is and great value for money - we’ll be back for sure!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaHave always loved into the blue but this week we had the set sharing menu for two £55 fabulous food and great value.. my only criticism would be that I would have liked the plates a little more spread out in time.. there was a lot to eat at once! But still delicious . We will be back
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLovely lunch and very friendly service, reasonably priced as well! Look forward to going back.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaGreat food as ever, but I'm not sure about the tasting/sharing menu which seemed to be designed to disguise an understandable increase in prices. Would like to see at least one interesting/seasonal 'proper' main dish on the menu.
