Another excellent fish dinner. Where else would we celebrate my birthday?

We had an amazing evening, service and quality of food outstanding, would highly recommend to friends and family.

Can’t fault this place, although decor a bit worn, food excellent along with staff too and great to be viewing the cooking station and talk to chefs too, great choice on the menu too, a fish lovers place to visit

We booked a table for lunch at Into The Blue on the Bank Holiday weekend. The mussels were plump and tasty to start, and the tempura prawns were very nice. The monkfish was delicious and the service was good. Would recommend and would come back again for more!

We have dined here many times over the years and love the atmosphere, the service and the creative menus and use of fresh fish & seasonal ingredients. Dave the chef is excellent.We love the new menu and the food is tasty and flavours nearly always excellent, our only criticism is that the portions are very small especially some of the starters & the tapas style or small plates menu mean you have to order a number of dishes to ensure you aren’t still hungry!, It’s a shame not to have some of the more traditional dishes and platters running alongside the new menu ..

I went with seven friends for a meal to Into the Blue this week. I had booked in advance and asked for the captain’s table which seats nine comfortably and was luckily able to have this table. It’s tucked away near the entrance and is great for a larger group like us with a couple of dead members (!) as the sound is excellent. We ordered some very nice Pinot Grigio rosé wine to go with our various fish dishes of Fish Pie, Sea Bass, Mussels and Mackerel Pâté. They were all without exception nicely presented and well cooked dishes Some of us sampled the desserts: a citrus Pollenta cake, Eton Mess and Apple Tarte Tatin - again all delicious. The service was very good and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We had a great time! We’ll be back……

We had a lovely lunch at into the blue the food was absolutely delicious in a lovely and friendly atmosphere. Fish was perfectly cooked and very tasty as was the steak my son had. Highly recommend!

What a find! The people are as lovely as their food is. Really un boring take on fish cooking and it’s really fairly priced. Sunny when we got there but rainy when we left for a walk but were welcomed back for a coffee so kindly. Thank you, you bunch of lovely people.

Have been before a few times and really liked it but my last visit was very disappointing with small portions,left still feeling hungry and wouldn’t rush back

The new menu is great and our fish meal was excellent

First time visit. We had sea bass and cod loin, both were excellent as was the service. Only question was two oysters my wife had. She had a stomach upset the following day which was probably due to them. Will definitely return.
