The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – Rye4 of us for Sunday lunch. Could not fault the food, quality and portion size were perfect. Staff were excellent. Ambience great. Will be going back again.
The Denbigh – BexhillAnother lovely meal, great service and really good tasting food, had a pint of Joosy and loved it
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeSo glad to have discovered this lovely cosy bar. Friendly staff, excellent food and fun surroundings.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeThe food is extraordinary and Into the Blue is our first choice for celebration meals
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe think this is such a special restaurant for anyone who loves fish and hopes for more than just the standard dishes you might see anywhere (though husband had fish and chips this time and declared it excellent). The fish and seafood is all skilfully, beautifully cooked and what I really loved this time were the different, vibrant sauces and flavours that accompanied the starter (squid), main (sea bass) and side (curried cauliflower). Service is also welcoming and knowledgeable. We wish it was our local restaurant - we eat here whenever we are visiting.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFriendly, welcoming staff. Lovely food and wide selection for choice. Have been many times before and food always good.
The Denbigh – BexhillCosy atmosphere and welcoming, but having just 2 cources and 2 drinks we felt that £82 was very overpriced,my burger and chips was nice but was served on a very small plate and was quite a small burger which didn't justify the price tag. Apologies for the winge but prices of small portioned food can not be justified in my opinion, especially if it's just nice and not that memorable.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeRunning out of superlatives. Consistently good, very special!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAmazing food all freshly cooked and delicious Would recommend to anyone esp seafood lovers
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaJust a lovely cafe. Really fresh high quality food. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Great for children too.
Hartfields – UckfieldFab as always! We came here for a birthday brunch and as usual, it didn’t disappoint. The food is delicious and staff are lovely. My fave spot in Uckfield.
Hartfields – UckfieldFirst time visiting but won't be the last, the food and service were excellent, from the starters of squid, mussels and Oysters through to crispy Asian chicken, whole sea bass and Monk Fish, with ribs, noodles you could't fault it, is you haven't been before I recommend you give it a go
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaCosy atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff. Tasty local food.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeMoved to Shoreham beach recently and had two lovely meals here so far! My only criticism on yesterday’s set menu meal is that main of ( Cajun Chicken) didn’t come with anything so just got a fairly small plate of fried chicken bits without anything with it! You have to order sides separately so boosts the cost of the set menu . Friendly service and nice atmosphere as usual though.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLovely little restaurant, delicious starters, would definitely recommend. We had the salt and pepper squid and the satay prawns to start, they were both amazing! I usually don't like squid but this was tasty and tender, not chewy at all, could've eaten lots more. Our mains weren't as good, my wife found the lobster tail a bit chewy and didn't understand why it had diced carrot with it, I had the sea bass which I didn't realise was going to be lightly battered so it was my fault I was a little disappointed, although my wife said the light batter was good. We also had the miso cabbage and the curried cauliflower both of which were delicious, overall a very nice meal and we will definitely go again.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaMy wife and I have been here a few times and I have to say the last two lunches we've had have been outstanding. Yesterday we got the special seafood paella and the monk fish cha sui and we shared them both. Food was excellent with everything cooked to perfection. We had a lovely lady waiting on us and couldn't have asked for anything more, great service with a smile.
