Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaMy favourite place to eat in Eastbourne... Food is always absolutely delicious, great choices, lovely warm atmosphere, friendly people who clearly enjoy sharing their love of Sardinian food. Highly recommended
Ancient Grains – EastbourneWe had a really wonderful evening. The food and service was perfect
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe have visited a couple of times in the last few weeks, and the food has been amazing. Our most recent visit was a birthday celebration so we treated ourselves to the lobster. Beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious! Good service and nice relaxed atmosphere add to the occasion. Will definitely be back again soon.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-Seamy absolute favourite restaurant in Eastbourne, bar none. Feels like an Italian Grandma has been cooking for me all day.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneCosy decor and lovely food. Son loves negroni so ordered one but it was not good. Sauvignon blanc was really good.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe visited into the blue on Sunday for their new Sunday roast menu. We had a surf and turf sharing platter (seabass and pork). It was delicious and will definitely be returning. Excellent value. Well done Jaqui, Dave and the rest of the staff. Continues to be my favourite restaurant.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAnother lovely visit to Hartfields! In Uckfield whilst waiting for my car to be serviced so I paid a visit to Hartfields for my breakfast. Lovely Oak milk cappuccino and a Cheese & Tomato omelette. Excellent service, friendly staff and cosy establishment!
Hartfields – UckfieldGreat venue, lovely staff.. had Sunday roast here and the beef was amazing. However the roast potatoes were awful and this really needs to be addressed. The crumble for dessert was lovely 10/10
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe ate at the pub on Sunday! So good we visited again on Monday 13/10/25! The food and service just perfect!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeThis was our first visit and we loved it! The pub/restaurant is really quirky and has a great atmosphere. The staff were attentive and really engaged with customers. The roast dinner and pudding was the best we’ve had so far eating out. We will be back for sure.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeA great envronment which was a little unusual for a pub, but very enjoyable good food and service.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe visited Hartfields for brunch on Sunday as a table of 5 and it was my dads 80th birthday. My dad ordered pancakes and as the staff had seen my dad opening his birthday cards, his pancake came out with a little candle, it was so lovely. The food was absolutely delicious with fresh, good quality ingredients. The staff are SO friendly and very attentive. Will be sure to go back, lovely atmosphere too. A great little place in the heart of Uckfield.
Hartfields – UckfieldFor some years, we have been regular, though perhaps not as frequent, visitors as Jaqui might wish. One might think that having a restaurant of this quality within walking distance would find it overrun, though at present the economic situation prevents any such possibility. Our most recent visit exploited the small dishes on the menu. We always start with Scallops because Dave prepares and presents them so well. Fish cake was most flavoursome and the squid beautifully light and tasty. An excellent wine list offered us a lovely chilled Vinho Verde. Perhaps we might increase our frequency of visits !
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaThoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Denbigh. The food was excellent -well presented very fresh, delicious and hot Good variety. The server was friendly and attentive. She was the only one serving and was doing a great job
The Denbigh – BexhillLovely pub, full of character. We were greeted by Millie as soon as we walked through the door and from then on her and her colleague couldn't do enough for us. The food was very tasty with extremely generous portions.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWhat a lovely restaurant! Food, wine and ambience were great! I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you, Gary, Katy and Anya
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaThis is our favourite restaurant. A warm & attentive welcome by Marriane & outstanding food from the kitchen. Head chef, David, really understands fish and seafood and has created his own style of sauces, accompaniments and presentation. We had a memorable lunch of monkfish and bouillabaise.
