Absolutely fantastic meal as always. Fresh fish dishes presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Paella was spot on as was the Fillet steak. Great atmosphere brilliant friendly service & not rushed in any way, which is always nice. Such a fantastic little restaurant

Absolutely fantastic, authentic and stunningly prepared Sardinian food. Cooked with individual passion and care. The service matches the food. All presented with pleasure and modesty. This place is indeed a hidden gem.

Had a really lovely meal here on a busy Friday night. We had been in communication with Ancient Grains to order from their advance menu. We had the coccoi de Tamatta and the calamaretti fritti to start with orato al cartoccio and agnello al limone to folow. Everything was delicious and felt homemade in the best possible way. The love for the food shines through with the attention to detail and service. Really looking forward to going again soon.

The second time we have visited The Globe and it’s safe to say we will keep coming back in the future. Great food, wonderful staff, good value and a lovely environment. They’ve got the formula right - long may it continue .

Dinner for two, one of us being a coeliac and also with a ( well behaved) dog in tow. Lovely fresh fish with roasted new potatoes, leeks and capers butter. Extensive GF options for mains and dessert. Very friendly helpful service. Would definitely eat here again.

Yet again a fantastic lunch. Sea bass & paella both cooked superbly. We commented to Jacquie, FOH, that in the 18+ years, probably more, we have never had a bad meal, I corrected my wife saying that we’ve never even had an ordinary meal, every meal has been fantastic. Dave the chef is a master of creating fantastic food, not just text book regulars.

Have been coming here for the last 5 years. The place is a bit dated and needs a bit of love in areas but the staff are great. The food is good and plentiful. Never disappointed. Have been at lunch and also for dinner. Well worth the visit. The Sunday roasts are amazing too

Sept 25 - booked a table to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We pre-booked the seafood platter which was excellent. Great and attentive service, we really enjoyed the evening. We’ll be back again soon.
