We enjoyed all the food which came in very generous portions. The atmosphere was lively but pleasant. The service was efficient and welcoming both for us and our dog .

The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeLovely atmosphere. Friendly, but our waiter was a little nonchalant. Lamb burger nondescript. Fish pie great.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe visited for Sunday lunch and it was fabulous! We travel in from Hythe to come here when we can as we love it here. The atmosphere is great, the staff are welcoming, attentive and plentiful! There is a great vibe and the pub is beautiful and quirky. The food is delicious too. We look forward to our next visit.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeLovely cosy atmosphere. Great roast and desert. Happy and attentive staff.
Pissarro’s – HastingsMy wife and I had a lovely lunch here on Sunday 19th Oct 2025. Food took 20 minutes to arrive, but when it arrived, it was all nice and hot.
The Denbigh – BexhillWent for Sunday lunch, ordered oysters, a little bland. But pacific not native. Both lunches were excellent with lashings of gravy, I could have done with a couple more slices of beef, but for the money you couldn’t do better. Dessert was lovely too, and really lovely Anjou wine. Always great with excellent staff
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe were party of seven dining at Into the Blue. Starters were delicious, we mostly had different things. For mains my husband had half lobster, two had sea bream, two monkfish, one mussels, and one dover sole. All served up beautifully and equally delicious. Some had desserts, but we were quite full. Portions are very generous. Jaqui and staff were very pleasant and attentive. Best restaurant in Shoreham, particularly if you like fish. A very pleasant evening.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaDelicious food and great service!
Layla Mezze Grill – RyeExcellent food very interesting lovely place and great service
Ancient Grains – EastbourneA really great dining experience. Warm atmosphere, super food and very friendly service. Certainly the best restaurant in the Eastbourne area.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneI’m always blown away by this place, on this visit I had neglected to advise them about an energy I had and they couldn’t have been more helpful and more brilliant in sorting this for me, the food is exquisite the staff and lovely it’s one of my very favourite places to go
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat can I say that I haven’t previously! Four of us ate on Saturday with 3 of us tackling lobster and 1 bouillabaisse . The food was exceptional! The food was abundant in quality and flavour and as always wonderfully presented. Although the price of fish/seafood has escalated ridiculously recently the prices are very favourable and total value for money. Highly recommended.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaA really good first (of many we hope) experience at this restaurant. The service and food was wonderful. Thank you
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaMy favourite place to eat in Eastbourne... Food is always absolutely delicious, great choices, lovely warm atmosphere, friendly people who clearly enjoy sharing their love of Sardinian food. Highly recommended
Ancient Grains – EastbourneWe had a really wonderful evening. The food and service was perfect
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe have visited a couple of times in the last few weeks, and the food has been amazing. Our most recent visit was a birthday celebration so we treated ourselves to the lobster. Beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious! Good service and nice relaxed atmosphere add to the occasion. Will definitely be back again soon.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-Seamy absolute favourite restaurant in Eastbourne, bar none. Feels like an Italian Grandma has been cooking for me all day.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneCosy decor and lovely food. Son loves negroni so ordered one but it was not good. Sauvignon blanc was really good.
