The pub itself if nice, and staff are lovely and helpful. But the food let it down, we ordered the calamari (£9!!) which wasn’t fresh super chewy and clearly from frozen. We both had the burgers and the burger buns were dry and stale which really let the burger down, as everything else was nice in it. Chips were amazing and the star of the show, but for £16 maybe could have had a side salad.

There wasn’t a bad dish on the table - they were all delish. Service was great, good was fab and value excellent. Thank you!

We like the location too, and if you can find a parking space nearby, it's just a very short walk over the railway bridge into the town. We recommend it. Only, please ditch the white plastic platters that you sometimes use for some dishes. They are very out of character.

Ancient Grains – EastbourneWhat a lovely place for a meal! It had been recommended by a friend and we weren't disappointed! We had Sunday lunch and the staff couldn't have been better. I thought the prices were reasonable for what you got, there was a good menu and we really enjoyed our meal. We had a young baby with us and although they don't have high chairs they made sure we were aware and put us at an appropriate table. Will definitely be going back there!

Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLoved it here - such an interesting place to visit! We loved the decor, the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. Some locals feel this place is pricey, but as visitors from out of the area, we found it really good value compared to what we're used to! Every detail was thought of and we were made to feel welcome and relaxed. The Bloody Mary cocktail was like no other - a full stick of celery, a massive olive on a cocktail stick over the top and a proper kick! We went back again the next evening for a light snack as we loved it so much. Definitely worth a visit :-)
