We return to Rye every August Bank Holiday and always book in at the Globe. Food is always interesting, tasty and value for money. You never know quite what you’re getting before you turn up as everything relies on fresh ingredients and whatever has been caught at se that day. I would recommend everyone to try the very quirky Inn, hidden away on the edge of Rye town.

Absolutely wonderful as always. Have eaten at this lovely restaurant many times and it has never disappointed on any level. Service is charming and prompt, and the food unfailingly delicious and presented thoughtfully - I had the seafood platter and other half had grilled local lobster. Recommend booking as it gets very busy!!

For once I deviated from the magnificent dover sole meuniere and my wife and I had the sicilian fish stew which was a special. It was a delight. Into the Blue is consistantly one of the best fish restaurants I have ever eaten in and I have been around for a long time! The service is a delight .Anyone visiting Sussex MUST put this restaurant on their eating list!

Quirky, interesting pub. Our second visit and we were able to sit outside. Service was very good and attentive. Food was amazing better than last year.We had the fish platter and halloumi fries with a lovely bottle of rose. Would totally recommend

Lovely food and ambiance

Lovely warm welcome. The food was excellent and well presented and staff very attentive. Would highly recommend this pub. Dog friendly and lovely outside area. This was our first visit and will be definitely returning. Desert menu could be more adventurous but the Vegan chocolate tart was amazing.

Aubergine excellent. Fish platter disappointing. Service and ambiance excellent. Cocktails overpriced.
