Pissarro’s – HastingsAn absolute hidden gem. Fantastic service, must go if in Eastbourne
Ancient Grains – EastbourneConsistently fantastic. The freshest fish, most delicious combination of flavours and nicest service. Their bouillabaisse is my absolute favourite, but nothing on the menu is less than delicious. Great value for money.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAbsolutely the best evening, we enjoy the atmosphere of this lovely little restaurant. From Start to finish ,food was excellent. We love it here
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLove this little restaurant. Food so fresh and beautiful serve, lovely atmosphere Jackie and Dave so welcoming
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaInto the Blue never fails to produce very superior food. It is basically a wonderful fish restaurant. The Chowder is an amazing starter, the Dover Sole is sensational and every time I come here I find myself in a culinary heaven. Great food, delightful service and a feeling of having been to a truly great eating experience. The only complaint is that it is so difficult to choose from the delightful menu. If you havent yet been,GO!.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaEverything was delicious and lovely as always. We loved the new decor too.Looking forward to trying out the Sunday Roast!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe discovered Into the Blue shortly after we moved from Essex to Shoreham in June 2021. To find such a restaurant within walking distance of our new home was the cherry on the cake. The staff are lovely, offering a real friendly and personal service. Although it is predominantly a fish restaurant, do try the excellent melt-in-the-mouth meat dishes as well. Oh .. and finally if the hummus was my very last meal on earth, I would be very happy.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaYet another excellent meal and warm welcome at Ancient Grains, very many thanks. A very happy New Year to you all and wishing all good things and every success for 2025!
Ancient Grains – EastbourneThis is a really nice pub/restaurant with a good atmosphere. Our main server was really great when taking our order and in any other interchanges we had with her but unfortunately the place was so busy and it appeared there was only two serving staff on so we were sometimes left without drinks on our corner table and unable to catch the eye of anyone to assist with any other order details. The food was good - 3 of us felt that our meal was good although my husband was disappointed in his burger and didn't enjoy his triple cooked chips which seemed to be undercooked. I have had a really nice lunch here before from the same menu but think perhaps this visit suffered from understaffing as the food and service was just all a bit slow and under par for a busy Saturday night.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe come to the Globe for an infrequent treat and it never disappoints - lovely January walk at Camber and a much deserved Sunday dinner here. Food came quickly and was delicious. Service was attentive without being intrusive. My only niggle is that the music can be a bit intrusive, especially if the speaker is right over the table like it was this time. It wouldn't stop me coming back though!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe took our Grand-daughter and her fiancée to Sunday lunch, which was very good. Meal nice and hot, attentive staff, pleasant surroundings. Reasonably priced. We will make a return visit.
The Denbigh – BexhillAnother outstanding meal at the Globe: the staff were attentive, the food excellent (particularly sea bass as the 'catch of the day' and there were good wines on the list. I strongly recommend any visitors to Rye to dine there.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeGreat local food cooked perfectly, nice size portions and fair pricing as it is quality food . Service was great not rushed but wasn’t slow, great relaxing atmosphere
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – Rye5 star!
At The Riverside – PulboroughWe had an evening meal, pre booking a few dishes. I’m so glad we went, everything was delirious, and the staff were lovely. We had a lovely evening and would highly recommend.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneI went with two friends for lunch yesterday. We had a lovely meal, I highly recommend this restaurant. The surroundings are pleasant, lovely staff and delicious food. Next time I visit Eastbourne I will definitely be there again it is the best restaurant I have been to in the town.
