Ancient Grains – EastbourneAnother excellent meal at Ancient Grains. My husband has a rapeseed and mustard allergy and this is one of the very few restaurants that not only use neither- but also no seed oils at all. Couple this with great service and sublimely delicious food- and it’s a treat we really enjoy.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneAnother exceptional meal, a perfect Valentine's Day lunchtime menu. Definitely Shoreham's finest. As ever, thanks due to Dave, Jacqui & staff for all their hard work'
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaI can't believe after living on the south coast for twenty years that I finally went to this great restaurant. We had the six course tasting menu at £25. The food was so good and at such a reasonable price. There is a nice wine list, also not too expensive. The service was very good - Jackie was attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely be back.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaBurgers were delicious. Very welcoming and friendly staff. Waited a little for or food as they were down a chef - but was worth the wait. We’ll certainly go back.
At The Riverside – PulboroughAbsolutely a hidden gem. Fantastic food and really friendly.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAlways wonderful at Barnaby's! Great music, food, ART! and overall vibe. Best place in Hastings :-)
Barnaby’s Lounge – HastingsWe were welcomed to the Globe Inn the Marsh by a friendly team of staff, we were shown to our table and sat at a comfortable table and given menus. It being a Sunday we both knew what we wanted …Roast. Having been here before we were not disappointed. There wasn’t a long wait for the food and the waiter, although present wasn’t intrusive. I had a dessert and we walked off our lunch with a walk around Rye. It was a lovely day.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeExcellent food and service. A real treat to have such a lovely meal, full of flavour in a relaxed and welcoming space. Could not fault anything.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneSunday lunch for four on 9 Feb, a mixture of fish meals and Sunday meat roast, excellent food of the highest level, good value. Perfect way to enjoy lunch with friends, will be back
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWe had a lovely meal with great service and ambiance.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneMy friend and I were warmly welcomed on arrival, and had the most wonderful surprise when we were offered a pretty basket of complimentary Sardinian bread with paté, which were a lovely addition to the wine we were enjoying. The main courses we ordered were absolutely delicious, as were the desserts. We would have no hesitation in returning to this charming and very special restaurant. Thanks for a super evening.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneBooked for a group of 5 on a Friday lunchtime. Requested and got, a table by the fire as a cold day. Made to feel very welcome indeed. We ordered fish stew , burger and chips , veggie chilli and a smaller veggie plate. The fish stew was very tasty indeed. Good burger and chips. Veggie chilli a bit bland . Excellent crumbles from the specials board. Would thoroughly recommend anything cooked in the wood oven! A special thankyou to Jess who went out of her way to make us feel so welcome and took really good care of us all. A very enjoyable lunch.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeFabulous food, great atmosphere and perfect friendly service = enjoyable foody experience.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneLovely meal. Great value and friendly staff.
Pissarro’s – HastingsReally good vibe, fantastic decor and layout. The food was tasty and very very well made. My partner and sister really enjoyed themselves and the fact they are dog-friendly , made the atmosphere really helpful for us. We will be looking forward to going back again.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyePerfectly nice, if not outstanding food - suffers a little from cold unwelcoming service . The service was efficient but perfunctory. Strange for a neighbourhood restaurant!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaLovely tasty lunch, interesting menu. Everything was fresh and piping hot and beautifully presented, will definitely go again!
