Was welcomed with a friendly smile, table was reserved where we asked. Food was absolutely wonderful, good choice of wines. Food served in a timely fashion, and was very hot and cooked really well. The service was excellent and we will be going back again.

This time it was made all the easier thanks to online booking for 6 people to dine last Thursday evening. The food is tasty, well presented and there are plenty of choices. We look forward to returning in late February before our next Rye golfing adventure.

We both had the daily specials - my fish platter was dry, slight in content, the only tasty thing was the mackerel pate, my husband had pork with watermelon which he said just did not work, we noticed that our fellow dinners opposite left a lot of their food - keep it simple! Before retiring I was a chef.
