We visited on bank holiday Monday. The pub was busy with a great atmosphere. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. The food was fantastic and we had a lovely meal and short walk back to Rye afterwards.

You never know quite what you’re getting before you turn up as everything relies on fresh ingredients and whatever has been caught at se that day. I would recommend everyone to try the very quirky Inn, hidden away on the edge of Rye town.

Service is charming and prompt, and the food unfailingly delicious and presented thoughtfully - I had the seafood platter and other half had grilled local lobster. Recommend booking as it gets very busy!!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFor once I deviated from the magnificent dover sole meuniere and my wife and I had the sicilian fish stew which was a special. It was a delight. Into the Blue is consistantly one of the best fish restaurants I have ever eaten in and I have been around for a long time! The service is a delight .Anyone visiting Sussex MUST put this restaurant on their eating list!
