Pissarro’s – HastingsGreat food and great service We were upstairs which wasn’t ideal for my mother in law and also lacked atmosphere Next time definitely ask for table in the bar area
The Denbigh – BexhillGreat meal and wine. Service was excellent and the Globe made me very welcome.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeWe had a very nice mid-week lunch. All the starters were lovely. Main courses also good, especially the grilled lobster which was delicious. The atmosphere is always friendly and the service is great. Will return.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWent for lunch and will definitely be returning. Lovely traditional pub atmosphere with quirky objects hung on the walls. My chicken Phanang curry was very tasty with depth of flavour. Very friendly and helpful bar staff too.
The Denbigh – BexhillMarvellous food as always. The veggie dishes are very imaginative and delicious. A good place for foodies as the chef is serious about his cooking and always trying new things. Useful if you have mix of appetites and tastes as there is something for everyone.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaDelicious food, so full of flavour. Friendly staff and a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. A hidden gem!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaExcellent meal in a great pub, lovely staff, couldn’t fault it.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyePerfection! First visit to this restaurant and won’t be the last. Beautifully decorated and quirky. Had a wonderful evening on Saturday: first class service and the food was truly amazing! I shall be telling my friends.
Ancient Grains – EastbourneReally enjoyed our visit. Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Very impressed that there were 0% alcohol wine choices on the menu. Very seldom see that. Love the whole ethos of using local producers and having lots of vegan options. Would definitely recommend.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeTried the restaurant for the first time, with a couple of friends. We were all very impressed with the service and, even better, with the food. One had steak and ale pie - couldn't fault it. Two of us had pork - first class. Nice selection of sweets - only one of us could manage that !!!!
The Denbigh – BexhillWent on an end of Sunday session, so a quiet, but welcoming. The cauliflower curry special went down well. The fish and chips, while good, the presentation with a small dish of coleslaw, plus tartare sauce, was just underwhelming. Will go again though!
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaHad a Sunday lunch there for the second time. Food was excellent and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended fair price for good food.
The Denbigh – BexhillFirst full day of our holiday and we decided to book for Sunday lunch, picked The Globe as it had good reviews and we were so glad we did. The food was excellent, the slow cooked beef was gorgeous and there was a fantastic selection of vegetables. Thought we were too full for pudding until a apple and blackberry crumble went passed, heading for another table, and we couldn't resist although sharing one was essential to being able to move again. Service was great especially given how busy they were. Would highly recommend to anyone.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeLovely roast, very reasonably priced children's menu and extremely accommodating of children/families/dogs! Thank you :)
The Denbigh – BexhillAlthough the restaurant was full and busy, our party of 6 were very well looked after from beginning to the end. The. Menu catered for my guests from the ages of over 80 to less than 15 years of age. Really good size portions, the roasts were delicious as was all the food and we really enjoyed the complete experience- also good value for money. We will return as soon as we can- thank you to the whole team from the chefs to our servers, a great Sunday dinner!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeQuirky place with nice atmosphere and worth a visit. We just had some small plates which were nothing special, sounded better on the menu, calamari very disappointing but all in all filled a gap. Beer was good and service very friendly and helpful.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeOur meal was excellent. One had Lobster Thermidor and one had grilled lobster with garlic butter. A very long time since we’ve had lobster- only for special occasions and this was really good.Indian potatoes and hispi cabbage as sides were good accompaniments making an excellent main course. Desserts were also good Erin Mess and pan Scott’s with blackberries finished a very fine meal.
